Memorable architecture and an airy place to think. Good areas for reading and computer browsing, helpful staff. I don't know Latvian, so the collection isn't much use.

Very nice interior. Spacious, you will find the place to read. Calming atmosphere. Sometimes concerts take place there.

I stopped here briefly while biking around the area. There were some art exhibitions inside that I looked at briefly. The toilet was clean, although the soap dispensers were empty. I did not see any English magazines, either here or at the main library. It is a shame, because surely people learning English might like to read actual magazines rather than just read things on the internet. Also native speakers might like to read some English magazines. Two of the cows from the cow parade, the flower sculpture "Ladybug Family" as well as a fountain "Dune Pine" are nearby.
