This is the place to go if you want to see inside a traditional 'trullo' house! Friendly staff and good value at 1.50 euros!

Alberobello is a real tourist haven which is a bit disappointing. However, this house is an excellent way to view how the Trulli houses worked. This one is double storey which is rather unique. It is very modest in cost to enter and there are good explanations in English in each room. The original furniture and furnishings are present. Good value for a 30 minute stay.

As you meander through the quaint village looking at the trullo houses that have been turned into restaurants and shops, please take the time to find the actual resident who has preserved their house for the benefit of us tourists. It will give you a true sense of what the day-to-day life is like inside one of these houses. The attention to detail is great -- even down to the resident cat! Pretty cool!

Today most of the trulli in Alberobella are either shops or restaurants. So if you want to see what a trullo was really like when peopled live in them, you need to go here. The woman who runs the place speaks English and will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about trulli and more. The information in each room is in Italian and English. If you do not go here you are wasting your time in Alberobella.

Good place to visit, not expensive. Nice staff provides explanation, and you can take pictures. Better to visit later in a day, when the majority of tourists already gone.

Just behind the famous basilica S.S Cosma and Damiano overlooking the city about 20 meters away you can admire the equally ''Trullo Sovrano'', as they call it here.. This too is a very well-preserved and restored trullo which you can also visit the inside to show the visitor how the ancient inhabitants of Alberobello they used to live. Nice experience.

Tucked away behind the cathedral - this is a nice Trullo to see from the inside and get some idea of what a (large) Trullo was like, including a cosy bedroom.

An interesting way of knowing how people use to live inside a trulli on the 17th century. You pay 1,50 euro for the visit.

Original furniture and kitchen implements give you an idea how life in a trullo was like in the olden days. The staff is polite and helpful. Written captions are available in various languages, as far as I remember, at least in German and English. Related books and postcards are for sale.

This is the only true 2 story trullo in Alberobello. It is now a museum with typical furnishings. They have a nice book store inside, too. Some stairs that may not be accessible for all.

Very good value and lots to see inside. An interesting insight into life in a trullo. Beware the mosquitoes in the garden, however.
