fastnachtsmuseum narrenburg

We stopped in the town of Sigmaringen on our way traveling to the Bodensee area. The town is quite quaint, not too small and easy to walk. While there we visited the Schloss Sigmaringen. It was an interesting stop (no pictures inside). There is a guided tour in English that provides a nice history of the castle and a fun visit through the jewels and armory. There is also a nice gift shop and clean restrooms. If seeing castles is your thing, it's a worthy stop. If you've seen HohenZollern, this one is merely a good reinforcement of their tours (same family).
