画作Fall of the Damned和Massacre of the Innocents绝对能吸引你的眼球!

Convenient location, so easy to find. Decided to go as you love art but it was a disappointment. Staff very rude, insisting in speaking in German and never told us that half of the collection that we were desperate to see was not in the gallery.

Interesting place with funny expos. For example you can look at computers from good old days until now. You can also find thing that you might think is something new, like coffee machines, but as a matter of fact they have been here for a real long time.

The Pinakothek is the very nice modern place where you could enjoy your time wahting the paintings and see all those nice works there

One of the blessings of Munich is well-developed public transit. Use it to visit the Pinakothek, a collection of three buildings--each dedicated to a style. The audio tour is a must for real enjoyment.

whether your in to art or not , this place is truly an experience there are 3 building, classical , new and modern , be aware that each building closes on a particular day during the week , which is weird in my point of view , weekends they are open. week day are more expensive than weekends and sometimes the exhibition is free...you just have to go and find out at the door.we went to classical and modern we did each one in half a day as it very extensive , you can rent headphones which is very useful as it really makes a difference when paintings are explained to you ...i really recommend and if i go back to Munich again i would definitely see whats on and try and go again

I am not an "art" person, but I've been here twice and enjoyed it both times. The collection is varied enough to keep a casual viewer interested. I definitely recommended getting the audio guide. Also you can't go wrong with 1 euro admissions on Sunday.

When you look at the buidling from the ouside you will imagine something different to be inside... Paintings collection presented here is not interesting, just like it. Go to Hermitage in St-Petersburg, Russia and you will understand what I am talking about. Most of the paintings in Alte Pinakothek are dedicated to the Bible. Just for your information - on Sundays the entrance fee is 1 EUR, so it is worth a visit and make your own impression but for normal entrance fee I woun't recommend you to go. There is a nice cafe with good coffee and deserts on the ground floor - do not miss it ;-))

We went to the NeuePinakothek (1700s - 1900s) and got in for €1 on a Sunday. It has paintings by most of the well known artists. There are also some beautiful works by lesser known and local artists. This part of the gallery complex is not huge and can be comfortably viewed in 2-3 hours.
