If you are interested in religious culture do not miss to go in the last week of July to visit Paderborn and it`s famous cathedral. The relics of Liborius will be presented in the cathedral and the 4 day celebration will close with a wonderful procession around the cathedral.

Beautiful church with medieval style. If you go to Libory fest, it is easy to find this church, near of the center.

I was baptized in this cathedral and have been to mass many times over the years. This is a great church and is full of rich history. This is a must see while in Paderborn. Get there early on holidays as it fills up quickly. The acoustics are the best I have ever heard.

compared to other cathedrals in europe this one is nice but average. The Hasen Fenster in the back is one of Paderborn's main symbol and easy to miss. Best time to visit the cathedrale is during libory (july) which is paderborn's main festival.

Reconstructed after war damage in 1945, interesting modern windows near the organ but I couldn't find the famous hare window

As Paderborn is not a major tourist hub this cathedarl certainly deserves a short stop and a slight detour (approx 10 min) from the highway. A classic case of a mediaval german church it boasts with a nice outside with a lot of decorations on it and the inside is very bright also with good ornamentation. Not too detailed and not too many but very nice. The good thing is due to the fact mentioned above it is not very busy and one can certainly enjoy a nice time inside.

The Paderborn Dom has been my favorite church for many years. I've been to many others, much more famous even, but there is a peace there, that I absolutely enjoy... The organ nights (I guess it's on Tuesday nights) are beautiful....

I went to the Dom for look around really, their wasn't. Much too it. The walls and pillars were painted to look like stone work, which they were not, every thing was pretty fake really.I would never go again

Lovely old church with lots of history and a sacred feel. We made a point of winding our way through 3 different churches in the city and this was at the top of our list. Make sure to find the 3 Hares, clearly the heart and icon of Paderborn. It's tucked away in an enclosed courtyard but very much worth looking for.

Loved the fact that we could wander in at our convenience and take as much time as we liked. Good too at there was no entry fee. Full of exquisite stained glass windows and a gorgeous chapel lined in mosaics. Definitely worth a visit.

Metal worked gates inside are a unique and lovely addition. It is well worth your time to get downtown and see this. The exterior is also lovely and worth walking all the way around and seeing from all angles.

Being there not that much to do in Paderborn we had the Cathedral at the top of our list. Its very large and very impressive. There are guides available in English which will help you understand what you're seeing. The Cathedral itself was extensively rebuilt after we bombed it in WW2 and there is a still a fragment of that bomb in the grounds.
