Easy access, many beach bars & restaurants.Sea sport facilites (kite surfing) etc. are also available.Some days there are huge waves and it is a bit dangerous then.

there are many sunbeds and a lot of bars on this beach, so it makes is perfect for a less adventurous day. the water has an amazing color, but it is not good for snorkeling. it also gets deep quite fast so pay attention to the kids.i highly recommend the paragliding - a very nice and not so expensive experience.

Sandy beach, very nice water color. Paragliding available, but no beach volley court.There are parkings and lots of cafes (some organize daytime parties). Reachable by bus.

Nice beach, all facilities close by, restaurants and drink. Sunbeds included in drinks prices. Cheap prices, that is. I suggest you choose the paragliding atraction, i couldn't go althoug i wanted to, it was a clear day with no wind out.. not favorable conditions for this.

it was too touristic. nothing special. the only plus is the easy access that is missing from the other amazing beaches in the island

We went to Kathisma Beach last year, it's very beautiful. Kathisme Beach lays on the Greece island, Lefkada.You won't get bored there. There are nice, big waves and it's an impressive location.It's pretty easy to get there with the car and for about 3 euros, you can park your car in the shade. From the top of the hill, you can paraglide all over the hill, the sea and land on the beach.The only disadvantage is the price of drinks and stuff. There are sunbeds and you don't have to rent them, but if you want to use a sunbed, you have to buy some drinks. One drink is about €3,50. That's a bit expensive for a drink, but then you can lay on your sunbed.I recommend it for everyone, nobody will get bored there.

We spent one lovely day at the Kathisma Beach in August 2014. We park our scooters at the big parking lot right beside the beach. Sunshades and deckchairs are offered (if not obligatory) to rent and it costs 5€. It is quite packed so it is not for those who seek calm and quiet beaches. There are handsome beach waiters running up and down bringing you ice cold beer, coctails, all sorts of coffee's, juices, ice cream etc. The service is great and quick. This beach has great waves which can be a real fun for kids and adults. Behind the beach and parking lot, there is a great a bit fancy restaurant with excellent food and outside swimming pool (sorry I forgot the name but you cannot miss its unike alla Sydney opera roof). This was the best restaurant we visited on our Lefkada vacation.

This beach was always really busy so it is not ideal for people who like peace and quite, but if you enjoy meeting a new people, playing beach games and having fun, this should be your choise. I enjoyed enormous waves there and I have really lovely photos too.

Very clean and long beach with amazing shades of blue, equipped with all necessary facilities, choice of few good restaurants providing delicious food and excellent service. You can stay in chez lounges for free if you order just a drink. 15 minutes driving from Lefkada town and easily accessible by car.

It's a beautiful beach, famous for the blue waters of the Ionian Sea. It's well equipped with umbrellas and lifeguard. There is food and coffee that awaits you after a long day at this beautiful beach. The road to get there is quite good and there is a big parking lot. A MUST for those who visit Lefkada island...

Attended on a couple of occasions, to enable a 'free from bias' opinion, was flabbergasted by the invasion of the noisy and abrupt Balkan tourist movement on the beach and the island in general.

All beaches on Lefkada are beautiful, the water color was unreal blue and clean.One of the most beautiful beaches of Lefkada. May be a problem with parking if you drive. Go bush oftenWhen you come to a place where you can see the beach, stops your breath away!
