The beach is sandy and was not too crowded. The water is clear and quite warm in September. We had lunch at the bar/ restaurant, the food was delicious and very cheap! This beach is perfect for families!

The water is so calm, water is crystal clear with beautiful surrounding. All convenience surrounding such as restaurant, sun bed and umbrella . Beautiful anytime of the day.

The location is very good and close to Karpathos Center "pigadia". The beach is a bit crowded but perfect for families.

Very clean beach and crystalline water !Pretty crowded beach .It is quite close to the capital. With a rental car you can move quickly in all directions island. Try as many taverns in the area! All are very nice and each has something different to offer and tasty !

nice, sandy beach, lots of fish, esp. on weekends lots of local families; a family beach, so not very quite. Good to reach by rental car or buslane from pigadia. Nice infrastructure with many tavernas and mini markets around.

This beach is good for children, but it does become rather crowded and the sun beds & umbrellas are on top of each other.

Beautiful sea colour, crystal blue, clean water. Even if you decide not to rent a car and visit many gorgeous beaches in Karpathos, you will have a great experince in Amopi. There are quite a few beaches: big sand ones and also smaller pebble ones- everyone can find his perfect spot and enjoy the warm blue sea. Taverna Votsalakia is a nice choice if you're hungry.

Ammoopi - the island's most touristic village - has three beautiful beaches. The Big Beach, the Small Beach and the Pebble Beach (called Votsalakia). All of the have umbrellas (6 euros/day incl sunbeds). We went to the Big Beach; clear water very soft sand. The beach was not windy at all that day. There are a couple of tavernas and a mini market at the beach. We had again brought our own lunch but bought ice cream and caffé frappé at the beach. The beach is framed by a couple of cliffs and some picturesque fishing boats.

it is a nice and clean beach! it has many restaurants where you can eat or drink everything you want! Some restaurants have free internet. Before you go to the beach you can visit the church to take pictures with panoramic views!!!! available beds and umbrellas
