Quiet, close to taverna with delicious food. Kayak rental and sun beds with shady net over, clear clear water, calm water and beach almost all to ourselves! This is in walking distance to the cedar woods and dunes and several other small hideaway beaches. Hippie kind of place, lots of campers and not at all touristy.

This beach is off the beaten path so it isn't as developed as Agios Prokopios or the other northern beaches. It is absolutely beautiful with its golden sand and clear turquoise water! We basically had the whole beach to ourselves while we were there. It was perfect!

Enjoyed ourselves quite a bit here. Feels very remote with a small area of about two dozen umbrellas protected by cover fence for the winds that carry sand. There is what seemed to be a tavern or large house about 80 meters from the beach but thats about it. Given the distance from towns there was only a handful of people around. Once in the water, the bottom is sand only. Very clean and clear water. Bring food and water if planning on staying here all day.

Long long sand, desert beach, just the sea and cicadas. Transparent water perfect for snorkeling, so do not forget sea mask! A small area with umbrella and sunbeds make your stay very relaxing.

What an amazing image... looking this beach from Psili Ammos hotel and tavern, was the best I could ask for my holidays in Naxos! The sand is golden and the water is crystal clear! So relaxing and welcome environment everyone should experience!

Off the beaten track lies this great stretch of sand. The beach in front of Psilli Amos Taverna/hotel is a sandy paradise with sun beds for hire. The water is turquoise and clear, I´ve been here in april and september and then you can enjoy the beach by yourself.

This is really a beautiful beach. I have visited Pyrgaki in the spring and also in september and I really think this has to be the best beach on Naxos. It´s possible to rent a sun chair and parasol from Psili Ammos.

This is a lovely beach, a bit rocky while getting into the water, but the beach itself is sandy. It is located about 20 km south of the Chora on the western side of the island. There are some services here, namely a nice little restaurant named Notos and a mini-market next door. And one can rent a chaise longe for the day under an umbrella. Nonetheless, this is a very quiet beach and the water is much warmer and calmer than at nearby Alyko beach.We had lunch at the Notos Restaurant and sat at table under the trees with a lovely view of the beach. Service was friendly and the food was good.

Amazing!! You have the feeling of being on a deserted island. Only about 10 umbrellas set-up so it is very secluded. Best beach for children as well. You can let your kids run around all day, and you won't be worried about them.

Quiet, very few people, no pebbles beautiful sand with gently slope in sea. The surrounding sand dunes and headland protect the beach from the wind and are good to explore. We stayed at the Psilli Ammos studios for 5 days and used the beach daily. The sea was clean and warm, even in June. There are 10 sunbeds and umbrellas which can be rented from the restaurant at the back of the beach for 5 euros a day. The restaurant is also very handy if you would like food and a drink. Once used you will return, it's excellent.

Very beautiful, quiet sandy beach. There are not many people and you can enjoy your swimming. The beach is very clean and wind protected, and you can spend your time on Psili Ammos restaurant which is located 30 meters from the beach.

Pirgaki beach is a long sandy, clean beach with clear blue water in a very quiet and peaceful area. This is a place where you come to, if you want to have some time out. The beach does't offer shadowing trees but the nearby taverna (50m from the beach) rents some umbrellas and sunbeds. If you need a real break from the sun you can get delicious traditional greek food at the taverna with an outstanding seeview! For those who want to stay longer, the taverna also offers studios for rent.There is only a sandpist leading to this beach so you have no annoying cars or traffic around.
