You won't find a lot of staff to answer your questions but the displays are very well set up and the descriptions clear and informative.

Before the Dorians arrived there were Myceneans and they ruled a large part of the known world leaving monumental artefacts and traces of a well developed civilisation. Coupled with Mycenae, the story unfolds with fascinating style

In the museum there were security people who were very knowledgable about the things that was on show. Worth the visit.

nice museum in an Venetian palace, with findings from Mycaene, Thyrins and other locations - small, but informative.

Didn't expect much when going into the museum because we had been to Athens before Nafplion and that museum took our breath away, but Nafplion's Museum was well worth the time as well. Obviously it is smaller, but there are great exhibits showing artifacts dating back to the Neolithic period up through Roman times.

We went twice, before and after we looked at the local archeology; beautifully set out and good, informative displays.

The exhibits were excellent. The best was the suit of armor that was so well preserved. We made a specific early morning stop before having to leave to fly out of Athens and had very little time, but it was well worth the effort!

The Museum is a three storey Venetian building in Constitution Square. The 1st and 2nd floors host displays found in the area covering thousands of years. On can see many items from every day life teracota or bronze, weapons, vases and a unique ancient armour. A neat and very well organized place showing the love and care of the people involved. Visit it! It worth your time!

Do not miss this when you visit Nafplion. The ticket was only 2 Euros but it is worth much more, considering what you will be seeing. All the Minoan history can be see with many other important artifacts!

Well set out and informative museum with archaeological remains from the Argolid from Neolithic times to the Mycenean period. The showpiece is the Dendra cuirass and there is a good and informative DVD (English subtitles and other languages) about its discovery and function.

With artifacts dating from 9000 BCE to the classical era, the museum is a miniature of the best museums in Greece. Check out the full set of Trojan War-era armor! And the skeleton of a Mycenaen newborn, preserved in its tiny grave.

This museum was reopened only a few years ago following the renovation of a Venetian building. On two floors, the rooms are bright and uncluttered and the exhibits beautifully displayed and lighted. Even better, descriptions on every item are in both Greek and English making it easy to know more about what you are looking at.There are interesting finds from several of the sites in the area, and particular highlights for us were the Mycenaean terracotta masks and the bronze Mycenaean suit of armour. There is also a very good film (in English) explaining where different finds were made. The very low entry price is worth paying.
