The holdings here are worth a visit while visiting the theatre. The theatre is worth a trip as is the massive archeological site adjacent to the museum. Here you will see the remaisn of the healing centre this site was in ancient times. Of course there is a stadium on site as well.

Even the staff at the museum will tell you that the artifacts housed here are not of the greatest quality. Many (most?) are Roman-era copies of classical era creations. Still, if you've gone to the trouble of visiting Epidavros, you owe it to yourself to spend a half hour in the museum.

The museum houses ancient medical artefacts and stone tablets with cures etched into them. There are ancient busts found during the excavation of the theatre. There are three rooms in total and is a must see if you visit the theatre.

A walk through history is in store for you at this place.Very interesting with lots of items that are worthwhile to see.

This small museum gives insight into early surgical practices, with surgical instruments on display. It also houses relics and statues from the temple of Aesculapius (Asclepius). It is well laid out but we were lucky to have a guide who could tell us the history of the site, which was a centre for healing.

very interesting exhibits, although the museum is relevantly easy to access the theatre needs a little more effort if you have mobility issues.

The museum is small and quaint, but filled with interesting art objects and medical equipment. Beautiful grounds, worth stopping in to view.

This little museum on the archeological site of Epidaurus gives some insight in the building of the temples, but most interesting in the medical equipment, which was used at that ancient times...!

Nice little museum at the sight of Epidavros Theatre. Loads of artifacts to view and well preserved marble statues. Not much for small kids. Set in a beautiful area. Facilities include a nice restaurant nearby for a cool drink or lunch. Worth a visit. Parking good and drive not too far from Poros Island.

One of those museums that look like a beginner arranged the displays. Poorly presented. Needs a major overhaul and improved lighting.

Situated in the Epidavros archeological site, the museum itself is the most uninteresting part of it. Lots of Greek Gods statues and parts of ancient buildings put all together loose their true value. Very little info about the place they were found or what they represent. The good part is that it was included in the ticket with the theater and the site.

Don't rush through this abbreviated exhibit...a cool walk through statutes and neat architectural displays

the smallest of the museums I went to. Dont remember seeing it in 94 the first trip I made there. Amphitheater is amazing and you could spend an hour wondering around it before seeing any of the grounds. Another hour in the museum. Easy hour walking the grounds. Find the restaurant on the sea at the end of the road in the little near by town of Epidavros! Worth looking for!

Amazing site, we spent 3 hrs there. When we got back to the car, discovered that our car had been broken into and my computer and heirloom jewelry had been stolen. The thieves had hit all 6 cars in our row in the parking lot. The security guy was there and did absolutely nothing to help, and the people at the ticket booth gave us the number for the police (100, like the us 911) completely unhelpful to tourists that do not have greek cell phones. Not a great experience.
