This was a real discovery; although I'm a train fan, my other half's not but we both thoroughly enjoyed looking round the museum and then the huge engine sheds, with some of the original steam engines and construction vehicles used over the decades to build and maintain this remarkable 160-year-old railway with its viaducts and tunnels (now a World Heritage Site!). There's a nice little cafe in the style of an old railway carriage which does good coffee and a few snacks too. Well worth a visit! You can also get a Combi-ticket which gives you access to other museums too at very little extra cost.
