We have received a three day weekend package as a gift for our anniversary. Before that, we haven't heard about this place, even though we don't live that far away. The package included a room, breakfast and dinner and a complimentary cocktail, a face massage, a back massage and access to all areas of the spa.We didn't know what to expect, all we knew was that it's a luxury spa which isn't exactly cheap, so we were extremely pleased that this was a gift. When we arrived and parked in the garage, we were offered a free drink, which was a lovely surprise. After that we went to out double room, which was located in the building called "Kunsthaus". The room was amazing. They really pay attention to details and the building itself was just amazing (with the grass roof on which you can walk). Everything is really flowy and without straight angles. Very natural and organic. The food was also simply amazing - there's something for every taste. And so much to choose from! They have their own garden where they grow most of the food they prepare! I also loved the herb and crystal infused water. The swimming pools, saunas and the outside "Vulkania" area are also simply amazing. There's a wonderful salt room to relax and also another room with books and magazines where you can just relax and enjoy.I will always remember the amazing smell of incense which seems to be all over the place. There is also a yoga master which has free morning yoga and carries incense through the entire place from time to time.We loved the romantic double beds which are located right in the pool area and which give you a lot of privacy to relax as a couple. In the evening, they light up fires around the pool and this takes you to a whole new level of a spa experience. I was extremely impressed with many hidden places and spaces which invite you to lay or sit down and relax. Another nice surprise was when every day a staff member with a basket of fresh, juicy apples, walked around the pool area and gave free apples to everyone. The massage was amazing and people there are extremely kind and make you feel welcome.I can't say enough good things about this place. It was like a dream to me and I wish it would last more than 3 days, but still, I left as relaxed as if I stayed there for a week.We will definitely come back one day - if it wasn't so expensive, we'd be there all the time! The only negative thing I have to say about this breathtaking place is that there are a lot of mosquitoes. So don't forget to bring a repellant.

It's a public therme so if you are also staying at the hotel, be prepared to have many more visitors in the pools as you expect. The buildings of the hotel have a very distinct and unforgettable design of the famous Austrian architect - Hundertwasser.

I can recommend to go to Bad Blumau to anyone who loves sauna programs and SPA experience. For those who arrive from overseas (or from Hungary) the naked sauna usage might be strange, but it is more natural actually. After 5 pm. they offer a favourable entry and are open till 23:00.

Thermal baths are body delights and when mixed with the artistic Hundertwasser architecture it feels a pleasure for all senses. All material elements around the the thermal baths become secondary when enjoying such a unique atmosphere, where mind and body merge to the sublime relaxation that water art crafts provoke in the body. Rogner Bad Blumau is an experience worth for the senses.

I don't think there is any hotel & spa like it. The architecture is amazing, the spa facilities are well maintained, clean and very cozy and comfortable. Can be a bit crowded on weekends and holidays but due to the architecture and all the different resting zones and pools it never feels too busy.

Perfect if you want to relax and chill out- no water slides here! Very tranquil. The architecture is interesting and no floors are flat! Spend all day in your dressing gown, including lunch. Purchases are made using your wristband which you download at the till at the end of your stay. Lovely spas and steam rooms. Beware these are naked and mixed sex ( not for the faint hearted!) Relaxing big pools inside and out. Try the pool with floats in the evening- it's amazing under the night sky.

I like the architecture of Mr Hundertwasser very much, its very antique, but too bad the standard hotel room is very small compare with the price. The thermal spa also open to public, so as hotel guest no "private area" to make us special than the walk in guest...I enjoy the breakfast very much with variety foods.. and excellent meal at the ala carte resto near the spa entrance... I was felt down on the stair to Volcano Spa, its very slippery, so be carefull when you walk around there. You need rubber sandals instead of bare foots / hotel's sandals

If you know Hudertwasser, you have to see this bath. If you don't know Hundertwasser, you have to see this bath. The buildings, the landscape is wonderful. The bath is very good, you will find your place there. There are several pool areas, with different water temperature, a lot of small and large places, many small miracle. The sauna is fine, but I think just average, there are better ones in Burgenland.

This is a spa, but not like any you've ever visited. Designed by famous Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser, every inch of the place is different, creative and special. The floors are gently curved, because Hundertwasser didn't like straight lines. Kids love it, but it's not a children's place - adults and romantic couples will love it just as much. Every room is different, with colorful towers, asymmetrical windows, and furnishings out of eco-aware wood. The evening buffet is amazing, and the pools and massage services are excellent. Only downside - it's hard to get there without a car.

My wife had visited this spa before and wanted to show me this magnificent place. I was amazed with the architecture and very much appreciated the day's stay. Next time we will try to book a room at the hotel as well to be able to relax fully!

We just returned from a weeks and half trip around Austria and the Thermal baths of Rogner Bad Blumau is easily one of our highlights of our trip.We arrived by train from Graz, a 2 hour train trip, which in fact can be risky as the trains run every 3 - 4 hours a day... so prepare and plan your trip if you use the train.Nonetheless, public transport is realible in Austria, as accross the continent, compared to the UK.IMPORTANT!! To use the thermal spa, you MUST book well in advance due to its popularity. We got picked up from the train platform, there is a intercom system you can phone the hotel to get picked up.Arrival, check in etc went smoothly, in fact the receptionist at the thermal baths was fluent in english and so informative. We got our tags, no keys as such, and found a locker with towels and bathrobes.Once we entered the thermal spa area, we have never been to such a beautiful, stunning massive spa area in our whole lives!I wonder if this can be beaten, I doubt it.It is clean, quiet, considering how busy it is, well organised, spoilt for choice in terms of sauna experience.Considering the level of quality it is not cheap, but it is not expesnive really either. For a days experience, you can easily stay here for a max of 6 - 8 hours if you want to get the last train back, it will set you back 60 quid, but lets face it, this experience does not exsist in the UK, not even in a 5 star attraction. The continentals know how to relax and unwind!!Loved the vulkanic sea with lush 37 degrees waters, heated outdoor pools, the lovely turkish steam rooms, the excellent saunas, whirlpools, etc. etc. etc.We will return?? NO QUESTION!!!
