This is about 15 minute walk from the downtown/ museum area, but they have parking if you want to drive. We were here on December 23d and were the only ones in the shop. We got individual attention from someone who spoke perfect English (he lived in Atlanta for awhile). The tasting was 5 Swiss francs for 3 glasses and each person was allowed to pick the 3 wines they wanted to try. Prices were a bit higher then you would find in Italy where we live, but probably about the same as you might find in the U.S. We got a nice Riesling made in Liechtenstein for about $15.

It seems to be impossible for individual tourists to get trip to cellars. However, tasting was possible and they have also nice shop for local and some other wines there. Licehtenstein has rather small wine production and wines are rather expensive on international scale. Anyway, as we were by car, we had to buy some bottles - due their rarity.Service was friendly and rules not to visit cellars are by others than these nice ladies.

We stopped here with our dog while on a quick overnight in Vaduz. We were offered some delicious wines to sample (dog was offered water), and we purchased a few bottles to enjoy at home. It is a lovely wine collection.

We were here as part of a tour and they did a tasting for us. The setting and glassware were very good and it was educational as I knew nothing about the local wines. The wines were pleasant but not world class. The ladies running it gave good presentations and happily answered any questions. We got up the hill on a little train and the area does have a good view of the castle.

We happened to be there, on a long planned weekend get-away, on the day that they had their spring wine tasting -- a wide variety of reds, whites, roses, sparking, and sweet wines from around the world. It was well attended, mostly by locals, graciously hosted by generous and friendly personnel, and generally just a fun time with some excellent wines, local as well as international.

I was there on 13 March. A cold day with few visitors getting past the tourist <strip> in order to reach this small vineyard on the edge of town. The cellars said they normally did tastings only for groups but kindly offered to let a couple of us sample 5 of their products. I thought the Pinot Noir which had spent a year in oak barrels was delightful. Production is too small for the wines to be exported. I would have liked to buy a gift pack to bring home but the current restrictions on liquids on planes meant that was not feasible. The restaurant at the edge of the vineyard was closed for the winter. As it was 14.30, only the Vanini cafe was open for a proper lunch. Much enjoyed the gratin and another glass of the vineyard pinot noir

A was at the Hofkellerei of the Prince of Liechtenstein for wine tasting (2 wines). Very nice wines. It was a benifit of Adventure Pass.

My friend and I like to try local wines where ever we travel. We went to this wine seller not knowing what to expect. We were surprised at the local wine. Some grapes are grown right there in Liechtenstein and some in Austria. There is little exported, so it was fun to try. The man helping us was very friendly and nice. he gave us 4 or 5 wines to sample.. a good variety. He had no problem with speaking English to us and helped me pick out a couple bottles for purchase. I recommend Hofkellerei.

We visited the cellar right in town (10 min walk from pedestrian mall). It's nicely set-up and offers their own wine as well as a variety of our world wines. Tasting of their own wine is available: chardonnay, rose and pinot noir... all are quite good. Service was very friendly!

This place was a great surprise. We showed up 30 minutes before closing and the winemaker still let us taste and showed us around very quickly. He even had us try some of the schnapps. They import a variety of wines and are very knowledgeable about them but my favorite was still the one he made. Very hospitable. The building seems semi new and is very clean. I loved the friendliness. Parking is also very plentiful.

My wife and I walked out to the Hofkellerei from the centre of Vaduz (a little challenging due to road construction). The staff was helpful and instructive concerning the wines. They offered a broad sample of the various wines available. The time was closed with a complimentary glass of wine. All in all it compares well with other wineries we have visited
