thracian tomb of alexandrovo

The tracian tomb near Alexandrovo has fairly recently been discovered and we went to check it out. Located just next to the village of Alexandrovo, some 20 km from Haskovo. When we went inside, they told us that what we see is a replica of the originally discovered tomb. It has many beautiful drawings on it which get fast damaged by oxygen, so the original tomb has been researched and then closed again. So, no entry into it. The entry into the hall of the sight, however, is equally impressive and you can feel what exactly the tomb was. You get many explanations, all drawings explained with awesome detail and also photos from nearby thracian sacred places. So, you also get ideas what to visit next :)Very much liked the result achieved for this tomb replica, professional, informative, attractive. Bring my kids here too, next time.
