这是里伯大教堂的塔，高达52米，建于1300年左右，是小镇最高的建筑。从上面看得到整个小镇、城堡旧址、还能看到更远处的绿色田园和其中弯弯曲曲流过的河，感觉很爽。

In connection with a visit to the church (free admission) you can take the more than 200 steps to enjoy the view of the the pictoresque centre of Ribe. Absolutely worth the 3 EUR admission fee. Half ways there is a little museum that explains the church pre and post the Reformation which in Denmark was in 1536. Beautifully curated.

It is worth taking a few minutes to see this site. Ribe is one of the terrific gems I have discovered during the time of my travels and I love to spend my time just walking around this wonderful little city. But there are a couple of sites worth taking in and this is one of them. The architecture is impressive and the history of the Church is interesting.

Really beautiful church. Built and rebuilt over the centuries. You can see this on the exterior brick work. Especially liked the newer windows behind the alter.

From the tower a fantastic view of the surrounding area all the way to the Wadden Sea.The church is the only fiveshipped church in Denmark.

When you walk into the building, you naturally hush your voice out of respect. Well maintained and worth stopping in for a visit.

Nice old cathedral which offers a great climb to the top of the tower to take in a 360 degree view of Ribe town. The cathedral is the town center so there is not much chance for you to miss this one.

Entry free to the church, pay 20DKK (£2.30) to climb the tower. Well worth it for the view, some of the steps are steep and worth steering clear of the bells when they ring!!!!!!!

Man må gå op af de 242 trappetrin, hvis man vil op på toppen af det 56 meter høje tårn. Der er ingen elevator, og det er IKKE for gangbesværede. Men vandringen belønnes med en fantastisk udsigt over Ribe by og omegnen. På vejen op er der et lille museum og man kan være heldig at høre klokkerne slå - en helt speciel oplevelse at høre klokkespillet f.eks. klokken 12.00.

En tur i domkirken og tårnet er et must, hvis man har lagt vejen forbi Ribe. Udsigten fra tårnet er fantastisk og den historiske gennengang om udviklingen af domkirken i det lille museum er spændende.

Fra toppen kan man se langt omkring. Til diget ved vadehavet i vest og hele Ribes samlede areal. Der er mange trapper op i tårnet og undevejs kan man se ned på loftet i Domkirken. I gamle dage, gik de unge mænd en runde på rækværket på tårnet. Det var en manddomsprøve. Jeg er glad for, at min far ikke faldt ned.

Der er mange trin op, men det er umagen værd. Mest fordi udsigten fra Borgertårnet er fantastisk - hele byen ligger for dine fødder og der er også fin udsigt ud over marsken.
