This terrace overlooking the bay of Valparaiso, is part of the historic hotel of Gervasoni. Excellent ceviche made fresh to order. Good ginger lemonade.

Get the camera ready and marvel at the colours and variety of works that can be seen. The hike up the various alleys and slopes keep the senses alert. The buildings that seem to evolve from those hills are a testament to perseverance.

If you have a short period to visit Valparaiso, make this one your first stop.Yes, it is a tourist attraction, hence trimmed and painted unlike many other of Valparaiso's areas. You don't see the poverty here. Yet, it is as autentique as it gets. People still lives here, uses the centuries old elevator, and dine at its cafes. This upscale area includes some three to four blocks, concentrating most restaurants, galleries, and cafes. Also several of the newly and best appointed boutique hotels.Lovely views.

This passage had interesting views of the docks and usually artisan stalls. The highlight is the museum of the cartoonist Lukas. Despite my Spanish being a bit basic I loved this as the cartoons themselves communicated what Lukas was trying to say.

We have been especially to valparaiso to see the colorful houses. We walked to 2 mirador and have been pretty disappointed with what we saw. However, this quarter of the city was beautiful and we enjoyed it a lot. All the painting and colorful stairs makes it a very special place that has to be seen. It is located just over the harbor (last stop of the metro)

It's a great and beautiful view. You can see viña del mar and a pleasant place sit and see the sunset!

This is one of my favorite places in Valparaiso. It's easy to get - walking or Ascensor Polanco-, great views of the sea, art and cafe. Go on a sunny day!

It was so much fun to walk around this place. From train station we just walk up the hill and then there are lots of street arts and they are very original. It takes at least 1 day to see all of them. But the local people said to me to not go to far away. Top of the hill is not very safe to walk around.とても面白いバラエティ豊かなARTが街の至る所に描かれています。半日ではとても見切れませんでした。丘の上の方はあまり治安が良くないようなので気をつけてください。強盗やスリなどのおそれがあります。

This passageway has a nice view of the city and sea below. It purports to host artesan stalls but there were none set up during our visit.

The paseo is just a lookout over the city and docks. There are a few stalls selling paintings and souvenirs. No fancy wall paintings, even the view is disappointing. The best part is the entrance to Ascensor Concepcion. Overrated.

This paseo is a beautiful collection of bright, colorful street art. I enjoyed it immensely when I visited it on a walking tour at the beginning of my visit. Later, I stumbled upon it again on my own and found it a little bit sketchy by myself. Recommend to enjoy it with a group!

Great views. Wonderful pictures of the Valparaiso Bay. Some pop art for sell, sometimes you find good paintings and pictures. This walking area has a Museum for LUKAS, the most famous Chilean political cartoonist. Also at the end is located the old hotel Gervasoni.

Walk between this 'Paseo" and Atkinson and Yugoeslavo as well. Good restaurants, bars and cafes in the area. Very nice view to the bay and port area. Cafe Turri and Pasta e Vino are a must.
