This is a great spot for a swim and is a short walk from the main road. You can buy food and drinks there also.

This beautiful waterfall is an easy walk to view. The guides will suggest you swim in the pool, but most tourists visit in the morning before the sun is out. This makes it a bit chilly for swimming, but a great place for photos and viewing.

This is a dark well (coca cola color from iron and minerals) formed by the waterfall. Interesting stories about why it is called Poco do Diabo (Devil's Well) and you should try to visit when it is not raining so the stones and pebbles of the path leading to the well would not be slippery. l

The 'Devil's pit' is an interesting place to visit if you are on your way from Lençois to almost anywhere in the National Park Chapada Diamantina. It's a short interesting walk with a nice swimming possibility I would advise not to go after 03.00pm because it is in a valley and once the sun is away it can get fresh there and the pit looses a bit of it's charm

This big waterfall is really worth a visit because its easy acces. I saw even people from around 65 years visiting this waterfall. By car this is only 20km away from Lençois and perfect in combination with the nearby tablemountain Pai Inacio. You can visit both attractions in an afternoon. If you have more time you can easily spend a whole day because there is another beautifull waterfall down the big pool of the "Poço do diabo " and a few other smaller natural swimming pools along the path. The colour of water is dark and reddisch and this is because organic materials higher in the mountains and the presence of lots of sand in the river. You should see this water like a giant tea ( good for drinking and even for your skin ).

The Poco do Diabo Waterfall is a great and mysterious place to visit after a long day of hiking through the Chapada. The water is clean and you can wash of the dirt and tiredness from a long day of walking and hiking. The scenery is also fun, worth visiting!

We had a day tour that stopped here, the hike is not too strenuous and you can zip line from the top into the refreshing dark water of the river. The colour is most unusual but don't let that deter you from having a dip, the water is cool and refreshing. Nice little spot to enjoy the falls. I would avoid white or light coloured bikinis as there is a risk they may stain.

The Poco do Diabo ends in a nice lake, good to swim in. The water is cold. Put on your swimming clothes before you walk there..it can be crowded and it is not easy to change there. Walking to the waterfall is not that hard and takes about half an hour. There is an entrance fee. Try to spot the small apes in the trees!

Small trail to get there. Nice water and a very deep natural pool. There's no entry fee, but they ask R$ for parking.

We had a couple of hours to spend in this place. Very nice. The water was rather cold but well worth a swim.

only a short walk from the parking lot down to the waterfalls and swimming hole. Beautiful, worth it

I went there as a part of a day tour and was very nice for swimming. I recommend it. There is also the possibility to do rappel and tyrolean but for this you need to pay.

Slightly out of Lencois so need to have car or do as tour. Gorgeous place but was a lot of people there. You can do rappelling or zip lining. We went with Zentur who were very professional.
