Arrived on a day trip staying in Margaret River on a very unusual warm day post Australia Day weekend. The owner along with chef Shane were both so warm obliging and helpful . Wines were a delightful surprise I loved the Red full of body. Enjoyed a most wonderful white wine platter full of local produce and home made bits. Venue so lovely full of personality a mixture of the modern and new romantic a must visit than you.

We came to this winery after a terrible experience at another and my husband and I were pleased with the friendly attitude and warm feeling of the winery. We also came with our dog and he was just as welcome as we were I would and will recommend this winery to family and friends visiting the pemberton region. We had a yummy ref wine platter and enjoyed the scenery . .. we will totally be back!

Great to find that Lost Lake Winery has opened its restaurant again under fairly new ownership and management. The winery is around 10 minutes drive west of Pemberton on the Vasse Highway where the scenery is breathtaking and where many well known wineries abound. The view from the restaurant over the lake and surrounding countryside is beautiful at any time of the year. And the food! - lunches only for the time being but when they become better known, as they most assuredly will, that may well change. So uncomplicated but so diverse! The menu comprises nibbles of dukkah, walnut vinaigrette and olive oil or a cheese taster. The main courses are platters of local ingredients and they are superb. A red wine platter or a white wine platter are on offer with many ingredients in common. (The platters are hand-made by the fabulous Gold'n'Grape gallery just up the road.) We chose the white this time. Generous portions of beef chorizo, Portuguese smoked chicken, hot smoked salmon and cheese selection were complemented effectively by pickled walnuts; olive tapenade; fig, apple and Chardonnay chutney; organic olives and Turkish bread with olive oil.All in all a delicious and satisfying meal. The fact that all the excellent components were locally sourced emphasises the fact that restaurants are confident in using the top-class products that this area provides. All the staff were friendly and informative. We had a limited wine tasting before the meal and found them all to be palatable but must go back for a more considered opinion. The Cabernet Sauvignon I had to accompany the meal was rich and full-bodied. Ashley Lewkowski, the co-owner and wine maker was previously at the equally prestigious Smithbrook winery in the area. We'll be back - soon and often.
