Went there with my Husband and a friend out of School holiday time. When we first arrived, it was very quiet and a truly beautiful spot. We set up camp and were happy. Unfortunately, hordes of people started arriving late afternoon and by sun set the place resembled a bustling street market. If I wanted to hear idling cars, screaming kids and lots of folks talking, I would have gone into North Bridge (Perth). After a largely sleepless night, we left early to find a quieter place (Which we did) However, due to its breath taking grandeur, we'll be trying Shelley Beach again: in the depths of Winter.

The beach itself I probably wouldn't advise you swim here as it is very rough, however there were a few people beach fishing. If you go to the lookout you have a beautiful view of the bay .

Loved this beach. As the name suggests a beach full of shells. Not particularly a place to swim unless you're very strong and even then somewhat dangerous. A good place to come and enjoy the view, the pounding surf and the wildness of the place. There's camping facilities for overnight but it's all very basic. I loved it for its wonderful views and its raw power.

While the long approach was through a lovely forest, the gravel road was terrible. The beach was OK but nothing special. Supervised camping there is permitted. If you don't like wind, give it a miss.

A drive through the beautiful Karri forest of West Cape Howe National Park and down a winding dirt road brings you out on to the fabulous white sand of Shelley Beach. It feels so remote and peaceful. Back up the road a bit is the turn off to the lookout. Spectacular ocean and coastal views, even on a rainy day. Would be a great spot during whale season.

Lovely beach with crystal clear water, but still icy cold. Go prepared with a fly net and anti fly spray

We caught our first glimpse from the lookout above the beach. WOW! The water was incredible. Made our way down and walked the length of the beach collecting shells. Would highly recommend it - the beach is amazing and you can camp!

What an amazing campspot, right next to the most amazing beach. Grassy sites for tents, and a beautiful pristine beach in front. Very clean long drop toilets provided. My hubbie caught half a dozen herring for tea both nights we were there. Unfortunately we didn't see the whale and calf basking in the bay, that were there a couple of days prior to us arriving. It seems to be a forgotten part of Albany. Hardly any people, surprising with the access road so good. Only room for one car on the steep cliffside going down or up. We made it no hassle with a camper trailer. Only supposed to be for tents, but plenty of grass for a campervan at edge of carpark.

Great beach, great scenery. Good track down to the beach thst is still accessible by two wheel drive vehicles without a problem, just take it easy. Make sure you take your camera.

A beautiful beach with a lovely little stream running from the mountains to the crystal blue waters of the ocean. Kids can play in the stream while the adults can fish!!!

Stunning beach in West Cape Howe between Albany and Denmark. Definitely worth the trip. There were a lot of fisherman when I was there and no one in the water. But it was quite cold so I can imagine this being a big swimming favourite in summer.

Classic south coast beach, White sand and clear water. Fun in the waves for boogie boards. We loved it.

The day we visited the wind was very strong and the wind surfers were having a ball we walked about a k and a half down the beach and our son and my wife had a great swim.

The road to get there was interesting, through thick forest with tall tingle trees. The past part was unpaved. We found this beach even better than the more famous Two people Bay. There is a view point on the hill above the beach.

6km of gravel 2wd road gets you to either a lookout over this beautiful beach or the hill down to the beach itself.Worth checking out and you can camp here too.
