From your first step down into the cave you will be amazed at the beauty of all the formations. Our guide Mary was very informative, the tour was at a gentle pace down the hundreds of steps. Great tour. Well worth the climb.I would recommend the morning tour as some tours are cancelled in the afternoon because of the carbon dioxide build up.

We had an amazing time being guided through this incredible cave. Stunning stalactites and stalagmites. Truly breathtaking. Not to be missed. Our guide Alan did a terrific job educating us about cave formations. He was informative, passionate about caves, and funny and personable. Highly recommended to anyone able to negotiate steps! Thanks Alan!

I arrived at the Jewel Cave where the same tour guide, Rikki, who led us through the Lake Cave yesterday, was conducting the tour. It takes about an hour in all and is quite spectacular, very different to the other caves. The final climb up all those steps is pretty taxing but a good work out. I had arrived early for the next tour (or missed the prior tour which I wanted), so they send you off on a 20 minute bush walk which is nice and relaxing. Rikki does a great job of highlighting all the different aspects of the tour.

If one can handle a heck of a lot of stairs, semi darkness and a little bit of airless environment, this tour is for YOU. Descend into a magnificent under world of amazing cave formations and lighting. A well informed and friendly guide will show and describe every aspect! My only sorrow, is the fact the water that once formed many a tranquil lake is now gone. (I was there 30 years ago so I remember the water) Still, Jewel Cave is well worth the visit.

Great tour with knowledgeable guide (Rikki). We had fun, learnt loads about limestone formations and saw some truly special things. Café is a great venue to hang out to observe birds as well.

We took a day trip from Perth down to visit the caves - it is probably worth leaving really early in the morning if you want to visit all of the caves down here as due to time constraint, we only got to see two. The caves are fairly isolated and only accessible by private vehicle. If you're unfit, I wouldn't even attempt it - there is quite a number of steps to down down then back up! Our tour guide Liam was really engaging and quite knowledgeable. The tour itself seemed fairly rushed, not a lot of time to soak up the atmosphere before being moved along. If you want to have a bite to eat at the cafe, allow some extra time.

This is the possibly the best of the caves to see in the SouthWest of Australia. Ask to see the 'Jewel Casket' and fossil!

The location is isolated. No buses to take tourists around these areas.Cave is great. The lighting effect is nicely engineered.Staffs are friendly. The cave guide and historian was excellent.Entrance fee is way too expensive for just 40 minutes roam of the cave. As for tourist attractions:To pay over a hundred dollar hotel, car rent, food, and over $20 cave entrance isnt worth it.

An amazing sight you have to see. Our tour guide Liam was very knowledgeable and encouraged my young 9 yeah old boy to lead the group throughout the cave. Just beware though there is ALOT of steps! And the CO2 in the air made it difficult to breath. I really struggled going back up but I am admittedly very unfit. I believe I was the only one in the group that really struggled.

I came to Jewel Cave to revive some of my favourite past times. I thoroughly enjoyed myself learning about this cave again and seeing the sights again also.

You just have to visit the caves in the area and like the others this one doesn't disappoint. Shows how beautiful nature is

This is a must see adventure if you only see just one of the caves this is it! My son of 13 thanked me over and over for the chance to see this beautiful creation of nature. We both were in AWE of the all the "jewels" on the ceilings, wall and floor of this time kept marvel! You will be blown away if you have never seen this so make the time to do it on your next family holiday. I know I will cause my husband is yet to see it!

Our trip to Jewel Cave left us speechless! We could not believe this incredible sight was right on our doorstep. Our guide, Rikki, was so knowledgable about the cave and answered all our questions. She also knew loads of extra interesting facts which added to the experience and made it memorable. Very friendly and approachable! The journey around the cave was very pleasant with platforms placed in specific areas to allow you to take in the spectacular views. The cave is clearly well looked after and cared for by the staff. I would definitely recommend this experience to others!
