This has been revamped and the architecture is a sight to behold. Can walk there from the city straight up Murray St from the Murray St mall.

We asked people in Perth to identify which church had the best pipe organ. It was St. George's. So we went to Sunday service. It is a quite attractive, with heavy use of brick. This cathedral is small, not large and forbidding as many city cathedrals. After service, people were invited to tea, and we found the group to be friendly.

A humble experience that will bring out the best in you. To see such a beautiful cathedral that is still used every day by everyone. A new view from every side of this building. The soldiers chapel a must see

Love this place, always clean, safe and open when I have passed by. Good feeling place and central. Whether you want some peace time, a rest or a church service, you could go far further for a lot worse.

This is a great place to explore. It does help if there is a guide to tell you about the restorations completed recently and to take you down to the rooms that are not at ground level. It will be more fantastic once the grounds and nearby buildings are completed.

With high ceilings, stained glass and large organ this cathedral is not massive compared to those in Europe but well worth a visit. In the city centre.

The beautiful, mellow, soft-red brick, the gorgeous stained glass windows, the simplicity of design, the air of holiness and quiet here are always balm to the soul. Great festivals - Easter and Christmas - are beautifully celebrated, with a strong sense of liturgy. The present Archbishop, Roger Herft, is a wonderful preacher, and a deeply good human being. He welcomes everyone who wants to be there.

This place is interesting as far as churches go. Its great that Perth remains its architecture amidst of all the modern construction.

My family and I visited this cathedral for the first for a December Carol service including the choir - the Choir were awe-inspiring and the building itself is an inspirational and monumental architectural masterpiece - thoroughly loved our visit and it made our Christmas somewhat more special than normal - a must see inside and out.

This beautiful cathedral is well worth taking the time to look at. The stained glass windows are lovely as is the whole inside. A beautiful, tranquil oasis that quite takes your breath away.

Compare the old traditional rendering of St. George and the dragon statue inside the Cathedral with the large exquisite modern sculpture outside. Very interesting!

I was married in this magnificent Cathedral many years ago, just like my parents before me. It takes one back to yesteryear, the building is magnificent and so is the feeling it exudes. There could be no more perfect Cathedral to be wedded in, and I will remember it for the rest of my life. If you want a wedding with a meaning, somewhere to remember with joy forever, then look no further. Whenever I visit Perth, I pay the Cathedral a visit, and give thanks for this magnificent piece of history.

Just sopped for a few minutes to look inside.A wonderful old church, lovely stained glass windows (as you'd expect) with a huge set of pipe organs and trompets (which I'd never seen before). Would have liked to have heard them being played.Well worth a visit.
