Dear Yardy07,Thanks for your review of Kryal Castle.It is certainly a very different experience having The Castle to yourself during the week than it is to visit on a day where we are open to the public. Whilst it is terrific to have the place to yourself there is certainly more of an air of excitement when we are open and there is activity around (which can make the castle itself seem tired when we are closed to the public).The suites are terrific for proximity to Ballarat and we certainly take a great deal of pride in the presentation of these.Hopefully, you may get the chance to come and visit us again in the future when we are open so that you can partake of the full Kryal Castle experience. Dear Viking21081950,Thanks for your review of Kryal Castle.I am sorry that you were unable to identify all the new things that have been added to Kryal Castle since your last visit.You are correct in that the basic infrastructure has not really altered (we are quite limited by the original buildings) but certainly our shows and attractions are very different.I do hope that you got a chance to visit the Wizards tower for craft and to meet the Wizard's apprentice and take part in craft activities, Faeries and Goblins for calligraphy lessons and saw the shows on the Main Arena including Militia training for the children.Some items are original - such as the Maze - but we find that is a sentimental favourite of our visitors.Kind Regards,Serena

Great suggestion about the children's clothing - Militia training on the arena can be a dusty affair.You are correct - our animals are much loved and well looked after. On hot days we do schedule extra water checks for the animals and, as you would have seen, they are in shade as well, but we do keep a close eye on them.I will certainly pass on your lovely feedback to our staff. They love knowing that visitors have enjoyed their experience at Kryal.I do hope we'll see you again.Kind Regards
