Service was wonderful, and the product is super delicious, and not over priced for FRESH Berries, they also have blackberries, which were so fun to pick, a really good trip to take the kids.

We visited during quite wet weather which affected the amount of strawberries available. However, we were able to collect quite a few and they were absolutely lovely. Disappointed there were no other berries available, but understand it is very seasonal. Also I think they should have more value added products in the shop, like jams, ice cream etc to really make it a must do destination.

My wife and I visited Berry World in Timboon, Victoria yesterday shortly after we had been told by some people that we met on the Great Ocean Road that it was a must do pick your own strawberries experience. Timboon is a very small town nestled amongst beautiful dairy and native forest country. When we parked our car at Berry World (right in town next to the golf course!) we heard a Koala grunting in a nearby tree!! There were even two kookaburras sat upon fence posts overlooking the young families picking strawberries. What a welcome!The new family run business owners of Berry World were so friendly and helpful, and the strawberries were the best we have ever tasted anywhere. When the area that we were initially asked to pick from started to become scarce of the best fruit (due to lots of people sampling as they picked I suspect!), we were shown to another field closeby with more magnificent sweet, juicy and plump strawberries by another friendly staff member. The lady managing the place was so helpful to ensure that our picking experience was a pleasant one. Everyone that we saw picking there were having a pleasant time. No hype, or hustle and bustle - it was a very friendly and peaceful place to pick our own delicious and sweet strawberries. And the prices were unbelievably reasonable especially for such wonderful fruit and friendly service.And there was no entry fee!!! We would recommend to anyone visiting the Great Ocean Road to make the effort to share a similar experience at Berry World. The farm is not huge, but the experience was.

I was somewhat disappointed that only strawberries were available having made the purposeful trip to Berry World. But my disappointment was instantaneously turned to glee after sampling the natural sweet juicy crunchy strawberries. Having returned home and bought strawberries from supermarket, my biggest regret was not buying a few kilos more that morning! Berry World produce one of the best berries I ever tasted.

I thought the strawberries in the markets and supermarkets were sweet. These are absolutely amazing!!! Many different varieties with slightly different tastes - I personally prefer the ones with lower acidity.The lady who owns the place was lovely! She brought us around to show us how to pluck the strawberries the correct way, and shared with us the life cycle of a strawberry - I never knew that if a petal from the flower drops off, the resulting strawberry will be deformed (but no less yummy of course!)

The best strawberries I have ever had with no duds in my batch because I got to pick them all. Cheaper than the supermarket and the company while picking was full of local knowledge and stories. Simply amazing!

Berry World is great. No nonsense, extremely good value and the strawberries - well! They are fresh, juicy and delicious! The owners are very nice - not only are they welcoming, they are extremely knowledgeable about the berries and their production. We had a really good time picking and an even better time eating.

The elderly couple who runs the place is very friendly and welcoming. We were given a few options of containers (costing about 50 cents to $1 each) and were told how much strawberries each would hold. I like their frank explanation to avoid surprises at the end as you are charged based on the weight of the strawberries you pick. You are welcomed to bring your own containers too.Then, we were shown the farm and the proper way to choose and pick the strawberries. You are allowed to try out some of the strawberries as long as you are reasonable and don't eat everything along your way.When we are done, we brought back the container of strawberries we picked and got them weighed. You are only charged for whatever your pick. The price is very reasonable and there is no minimum amount you must purchase, unlike some other farms.My son enjoyed himself surrounded by strawberries which he can pick and enjoy later. We even spotted a couple of kookaburras at the edge of the farm. The peaceful countryside and the occasional wild birds added to the relaxing yet fun experience. Most importantly, the strawberries tasted fantastic too! A great experience which we highly recommend.
