Great place to go - after I read some of the negative reviews it seems they could have come from a competitor or something. Good value and many activities to do - even air-conditioned which was great on a hot day last week, Other kids were also obviously enjoying themselves which is always the ultimate sign of a successful place. We have also gone to another place called Fun Galore down the road - I think the negative reviews are meant for them! Very hot and the go kart track was dirty - it seemed to be the Reject Shop of family entertainment centres! Fun City is obviously the more professional and kid-friendly place to go. Gokarts are next door and called FormulaE which also has kiddie karts so the whole family can race safely - that was a big bonus.

As mentioned above in the first review, ALL CORRECT!! All day passes were purchased for 16 of us @ $49.00 each + $15.00 extra for 1 lap of the go karts. Rude staff (under staffed if you ask me). Always having to line up at front desk to ask if you are wanting to go on any rides. Birthday parties get priority which they pay less than all day passes. Waiting up to an hour at times to actually get into certain attractions. Forever going to the front desk to tell staff we are wanting to go on or into things and being told "won't be long". Up to an hour later of waiting. Ordered food and waited up to an hour to get hot chips. All in all will not be going back. It's a shame because this place has the potential to be awesome if ran properly. WASTE OF MONEY!!

We travelled an hour and a half to visit Fun City for my step son's birthday. We opted for the 'all activities' pass ($60 per child) only to find that the go karts required a license (an extra $12 per child) and also required prior bookings, so we missed out. Several games were out of order which we couldn't use. The sumo wrestling is for ages 16 and up, so our 9 year old missed out. Games were haphazardly positioned throughout the complex, and were not highlighted in any way, and we actually forgot about two of them. Most of the games were not as 'fun' as promised, for example: the last ride is supposed to be a burial simulator, but is literally just a box that throws you around! The pool tables and arcade games also require spending extra money. The set-up to use the facilities is ridiculous. After you buy your pass, you have to continuously go back to the front counter to tell them every time you want to use a different 'game'. The front counter is also used as a registration for the go karts and a cafeteria counter and there isn't enough staff to cover everything. So you're generally waiting around 15 minutes just to tell them you want to use a different game.Staff had no idea on what was going on. We went to the rock climbing wall to be told by the assistant that we had to book in with the front counter. So we went back to the front, waited 15 minutes in line. When we got to the counter, we were told that we didn't need to make a booking and to go back to the wall! We explained that we had been told by the assistant to come here, and the counter lady wrote a simple note on a blank bit of paper saying "2 children, rock climbing wall" and told us to go back to the wall. So we did, but by the time we got there a birthday party full of children were using the wall and we were told to come back in 30 minutes. So we did. And this time a new birthday party was using the wall, and we were told again to come back in another 30 minutes! The laser tag games occur at various times throughout the day. We were told to wait at a particular area at a certain time. So we went on a different ride until it got close to the time. After waiting 10 minutes passed the rostered time, a passing employee told us that the laser tag group had started early! We had to wait an hour for the next one.Birthday parties seem to get preferential treatment to general admission customers, which is wrong because general admin customers pay a lot more per person. For an all activities pass, plus go kart licence and food, you can expect to pay around $90 per child to attend Fun City.

There is some thing for every one here Young & Old alike. We had a Christmas Party for our large family here & a terrific afternoon was had by all. There was good food, a private party room & lots for the grand children & our own adult children to do. The garnd children ages are between 7 & 16 so they all found some thing to enjoy.

I was looking for something different to do in the school holiday break and noticed a Scoopon voucher for rock climbing at Fun City. As I walked in, I was certainly impressed by the size and variety of activities on offer - certainly something for everyone. The lady at the desk was friendly and knowledgeable, as were the two gents looking after the climbing area. Having been indoor rock climbing at other Melbourne sites quite a bit over the past few months I thought I'd give this one a try. Fair to say I wasn't overly impressed with the rock climbing on offer. It was just over 10 metres high and there were only 5 'climbs' available (plenty of waiting). To me, the rock climbing wall appeared to be an after-sight; added in to fill some vacant space next to the go kart track and essentially create an extra 'attraction' at the venue. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the hour or so, but as someone who's climbed elsewhere I think there are better venues to go. With that said, for kids or inexperienced adults, Fun City would be perfect; climbing the walls is achievable for most people and the instructors are excellent with their tips and advice. Overall, good fun, but not really what I was looking for.

Upon arrival, we went to the front counter, said gday, only to be ignored by the 2 young blokes more interested in their conversation than the customers. Said gday again, only to have one of them say, I dont understand what you want ?!U said I wanted to knpw about a couple of the virtual reality rides at which point he proceeds to tell us how each of them is either not working properly or not working at all.Very rude staff, borderung on insubordinate. Would not recommend to anyone.

We went there yesterday with our 8 of our Grand Children & there were 8 adults & every one of us had a great time. It was a late Xmas present to the children which we arranged with the owners Angie & Darren. We had the full party experience with a party room upstairs with food & drinks then the children & most of the adults (except Kevin & I ) went on all of the activities that were there to enjoy. There are Go Carts, Laser Tag, Bungee Racer, Sticky Wall & a Ghost House. There was also an area for the younger ones with a jumping Castle & tube slides. There are also pool tables & many games to play. It is free entry but there is a charge for which ever activity you choose to do.The grand children all have a terrific time & I think will have slept well last night. The adults also had a great time. it was wonderful seeing them all relaxing & having fun.Weather you have a group or just a couple or just your self it is a fun day or night at Fun City. Thanks to all of thee Staff & especially to Angie & Darren for making it a terrific afternoon for all. THANK YOU !!!!!
