We have lived close by and driven past this hidden gem 100's of times. Today we visited. The rides are cheap, $4.50 or $6.00 for the longer ride, kids under 3 are free. My 2 year old twins loved every minute, as did the adults. It's a great setting, with a few picnic tables, lots of shade, a couple of old train carriages and a little playground which my kids thought was great. It's rustic, not like the high tech playgrounds of today, but my kids, and the 20 others that were there were very entertained by the basics. And, best of all, no kiosk or rip off venders over charging for food. So bring a picnic and play like we use to as kids, chasey, climbing on the playground, and inventing games. The owners are lovely and we will be back ! Oh there's no eftpos, so bring cash, but there is a petrol station 3 minutes up the road.

Spent a great afternoon here with the grandkids. The train rides were either $4.50 or $6 (longer ride) and there was no other temptations to spend money on which is such a pleasant change. The kids loved playing in a train carriage on site and sliding in the playground, although everything was rustic by todays standards the grands managed to fill in over 2 hours and didn't want to leave.

We went here recently after living near it my whole life.It is quaint, basic and rustic. There are no entry charges, just a train ticket purchase for each person. Train rides are up to $6 per ticket. Cash only. Take change as its a small hobby business.Only open selected days so check before going. No food or drink available to purchase so take a picnic to enjoy in the peaceful surrounds.A great spot for young children.

Great little hidden gem for a lazy Sunday picnic with a mini train rain. No kioks but has a couple picnic tables and toilets.
