Has a good collection of animals however the whole place is in desperate need of updating. It's very tired looking and bland. A splash of colour here and there like some colourful signs and statues, water features etc to make it feel more fun would be ideal. Interesting and colourful information boards would be great to draw the eye for education purposes. More greenery would make this park a lot more inviting, rather than walking into a very dry and dusty environment. And a better trail mapped out to find everything would be great. Also could use some more happier and enthused staff rather than the depressed looking keepers and assistants working there. Seemed Unnaproachable. Customers appreciate interaction. Or even just a friendly hello. Did not receive either here.

If visiting Kyabram, the fauna park is great for a visit. Lots of native Australian animals which completely wowed our daughter seeing them for the first time! And being able to stroke Ky, the koala, was the highlight of her holiday. A lovely day out.

We really like this park. Have been here at least three times. Easy to find your way around and not too large. Kangaroos and emus free-roaming. Lots of kangaroos. Only Australian animals. Possible to pat koalas at about 1130 am. Lots of parrots, rosellas, brush turkeys and so on. Friendly and informative staff in park. Good café and snack bar with very friendly staff. Great milkshakes. Very interesting display of insects, spiders and snakes. Great for children.

A lovely little park in Kyabram has a good range of animals for all. You can get reasonably close to the animals without disturbing them. Many of the aviary exhibits do not have caging between you and the birds, so if you like to take unobstructed photos, there is nothing in the way.You are supplied a map with all the exhibits numbered if you want to do them "in order" or you can wander around at random. This is not a hand feeding type of fauna park.Entry for myself and my two teenagers (14 & 16) was $36 which was reasonable considering we wandered the park for nearly 3 hours. Facilities within the park are basic which is to be expected for a regional attraction and some could probably do with a bit of TLC.Overall a nice way to spend a morning or an afternoon.

What a great way to spend a day with your family. Our kids are 10 & 12 and they thought it was awesome. The park is mapped so each enclosure is numbered. Follow the numbers and you wont miss seeing all the animals. Such a variety from spiders to emus, birds, dingoes to reptiles and the wetlands. Hi-lights: Koalas, wetlands and the indoor viewing area (very tranquil), the reptile enclosure including the crocodile and the free roaming kangaroos and emus.Facilities were a bit dated but were very clean, café provided meals at affordable prices.Gift shop was well stocked and not expensive. Entrance fee $45 for a family.

The real bush setting, showing not only the animals in the area but also the bush in all its glory. I especially love the birds area open to all birds in the area.

We visited here with a group however have also done so as a couple. There is plenty of room for picnics,BBQ's etc, and a cafe, and the whole place is very carefully looked after. If you are looking to take friends, family or visitors from overseas to view our native birds and animals in a bush setting, this is the ideal place. Children will love it, and may even enjoy coming(almost) face to face with a crocodile!

Petit parc animalier d'animaux australiens.
