a good walk, 10 km.. sometimes it get tough to complete it. but the good views keep you motivated to finish the track. Requires good fitness level to complete the whole track

We did the longer Werribee Gorge Circuit walk which is mentioned as 10kms/4.5hrs, but according to our Garmin was about 8.5kms and took us about 3.5hrs. Loved the track, lots of steep climbs and downhills, several good lookout points, but the highlight was scrambling across the rocks and then the rocky section where you need to hang on to a cable as you move across the bottom of a cliff. Probably not a good idea to try this with younger kids or if you don't have a reasonable level of fitness. Trail is pretty well marked, we drove all the way in to the Meikles Point Picnic Area and started the trail from near the toilet block and went up, but you can also do it in reverse. Wasn't sure initially if we were on the correct path, but once we worked out to follow the orange markers we were right.
