It's often the case that locals like to keep tourists away from their local treasures.The passion and pride of tour guide and operator Dave is obvious. He loves to share the beauty of his own backyard which he knows like the back of his hand. Meticulous planning is undertaken for each right down to the timing of the local tides. It's an adventure for all levels and my 12yo daughter had no problems in riding along the beach. Lunch was from wholesome local produce. Amazingly we felt like we had almost all of the ninety mile beach to ourselves!Highly recommended for all ages and abilities.

Think its called the Snowy River which drains into the ocean blue down Marlo way.A river to cross ! What's going down here ? Our elite family squad following Dave's example,hoisted the fats on our shoulders and waded Indian file behind the chief 'cross the water.Correction,two of the squad,a younger and an older member decided to opt out of the hoisting and Dave did the honors for them whilst they plodded lightly through the gently retiring,shallow, fat bike,the aged and children friendly-type river.We made a further successful crossing a few metres later after reaching its identical twin.That was only one of the fun experiences on a golden beach tickled sometimes by river ,sometimes by sea,sometimes firm, sometimes soft,sometimes wet and sometimes dry.Apart from the physical fat type activity,like pedaling,staying on and soft-falling off,Dave, our natural born leader was able to point out and answer questions re - geology,geog,hist and the wildlife types,whether in the air,on the ground or in the wet stuff.Laughing on expeditions, whilst not specifically mentioned in Wilderness Fat Bike blurb is permitted throughout.Relax. If I'm down that way again I would go for the longer outings without family.Need a bit more pain,can't please all of the people all of the time.In truth,an all-win situation ! Give it 5 .

Brilliant trip. Stunning scenery, great adventure, and fantastic guide. The guide (Dave) was very knowledgeable of the area and extremely accommodating to a range of fitness levels within the group. Highly recommend this trip to everyone if you are ever in the area.

A fantastic tour, our group had a mixture of cycling abilities from beginners to more experienced cyclists and all had an absolute ball. Dave our host was extremely friendly and enthusiastic, he was very knowledgeable about the local area and wildlife. The sunset tour at conran was a truly amazing experience. I really loved the bike tour I did with Wilderness Coast Adventures. It was a great experience riding on the sand next to the sea into an amazing sunset. I would highly recommend you give this a go :)

Dave took me on a 3 hour tour, 30 minutes out of Marlo, from the Yeerung river and down the coast to a freshwater lake, Dock's Inlet, return.Dave has a great knowledge of the local landmarks, terrain and animals; pointing out several smaller lakes over the sand dunes and multiple animals including eagles, deer and a seal. He also seems genuinely interested in us and our stories.I was pleasantly surprised with how well his 'fat bikes' handles the sand on the beach. I was astounded to find out it was easier to ride these on the sand then to walk on it.

J'ai parcouru beaucoup de plages depuis mon arrivée en Australie mais le fait de les parcourir à vélo confère encore plus de plaisir ! Longer la mer et descendre les dunes à vélo est simplement génial ! Si vous longez la côte le détour par Marlo vaut le coup. Et il yy aa vraiment de bonnes pistes de VTT !Thanks Dave for this nice guided ride !
