My wife and I were gifted the climb as a wedding present by our various adult children. There are (to my knowledge) only three major bridges where this can be done: Brisbane, Sydney and Auckland. We really enjoyed the Brisbane experience, done as dusk was falling. Great views, exhilarating climb, wonderful and informative.I've got 2 more to do (bridges), my wife 1.Thoroughly recommend it.

Amazing view of Brisbane. Went at twilight so got the best of both worlds - clear views followed by the city lit up. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.

The bridge climb: just do it! It's an adventure to climb the bridge. The organization takes safety very serious: an alcohol test, metal detector, no jewelry etc.No cameras or phones, so no pictures! But a great adventure to climb the bridge, store it at your hard drive :-)Safety is a hot topic, a good explanation to start with. Then a practice and then you can go up there.Great views of the Brisbane river and town. Informative staff tells you all about the city.We even saw dolphins passing by. A unique experience. Really worth your money. It's half the costs of the bridge walk in Sydney.I really recommend this activity if you're in Brisbane. Makes it an unforgettable city.

This is a great attraction for visitors to Brisbane and residents who want to learn about the bridges history. The tour guides are quite funny and give you a good overview throughout the allotted time without droning on for ages.

Maybe not quite the same if you have done Sydney Harbour bridge climb, but nonetheless a fantastic experience for all the family. If you do the twilight climb you get to see the views as well as the magnificent lights. Ideal for all ages long as you can do a few dozen stairs. Great crew running it!

Fantastic view from the top, you can see for mile on a clear day. Highly recommend the sunset climb, beautiful colours and the lights.

We took our teenage grand daughter on the Story Bridge climb and had a great experience. The staff are excellent and give you a good briefing before the trip commences and the guide on the bridge was very knowledgeable as well as making sure everyone was comfortable throughout the climb as descent. We took the late afternoon trip hoping to be on the bridge at twilight as the city lights come on. Definitely worth doing.

Got a voucher for the bridge climb. We had 2 guides as 1 was a trainee, she did well. Simon was the other guide, very knowledgable. Great view, lots of history info was given during the climb. It was a beautiful day for the climb, enjoyed it and would recommend.

There were four of us doing this climb. I have climbed Sydney a couple of times, so knew pretty much what to expect. As we were a small group, there was no real need to use the radios, as we were able to hear what was being said. Ralli, the guide, knew his stuff and we had a great climb accompanied by Enoch the Crow.

This was an adrenaline birthday treat and well worth the money spent. The pre climb instruction is A1 with safety the priority.Give it a go!

Combined Birthday and Christmas gifts - two kids (17 & 14) came with my partner and I and even though it had been absolutely pouring in the day, by 6pm we only experienced a slight sprinkling at the start. Great views and mist lifted even over the tallest buildings. Would definitely recommend a night climb - in the jumpsuits it would be way too hot by day in the Brisbane heat! Plus lights at night are impressive.

It was pouring down with no visibility, but no sympathy for an older person like me, no refund and no offer to book another day. Just an offensive policy.

On the night of the 28 December we were sat in our hotel room looking at the horrific rain grateful that we had not booked the climb for that night on the bridge we could see from the hotel window. The next nite which was as clear a nite as you could have wished for we turned up for the twilight tour on time and gave our name AND you guessed it, we should have been there the nite BEFORE!! To the staffs credit they did everything they could to get us on another climb as we were leaving Brisbane the next day. Two people did not turn up so we were given their places, thank you guys. The instruction and equipment we received was excellent and our guide had a great sense of humor and was very supportive and reassuring. The climb itself was very steady and nowhere near as steep as i thought it was going to be, my legs were fine the next day. There was regular stops and history of the bridge given. There was 2 photo opportunities which was great and to be honest not having a camera made you focus more on the climb and the scenery around you. There was a great age range of people in the group and we shared some jokes along the way. Photos produced were a good quality and cost reasonable with the option of collection on USB for $35. Would recommend this climb for anyone in Brisbane on holiday, worth the cost.

This was one of the better things to do around Brisbane city. Safe as, suffer the next day....but wow....what a spectacular view form up the top of the bridge. The only thing that could be better is if you could take your own camera or go-pro to have a few memories and show everyone else. I think that yes, it is a good money spinner to have the photo shoot, but hey, it's about time some of these places could start going digital.Still detracts nothing from the awesome views at twilight as all the city lights start to switch on. I went on a 5.40pm tour with sunset about 6.30pm (10 jan 2015). Try and work it so that sunset is about half way through the tour to enjoy it the best. Tour was about 2hrs 20min, with about 1hr 20mins up top of the bridge.BTW, best to take someone with you.
