This is a great Boardwalk with informative signs about the plants of the rainforest. The boardwalk is pretty accessible... From memory, a wheelchair could manoeuvre along the path. Perfect for all ages.

This elevated boardwalk was well maintained and had tons of neat things to see and read about. Definitely worth the 30 minute walk!

I have walked this walk twice and both times have seen good wildlife and cool vegetation. Saw large lizzards, butterflies, and a turquoise parrot that would exchange whistles with me. Very easy walk, maybe 30 - 45 min. No reason not to walk this one if you are in the area since it is free.

We arrived late in the afternoon and we were the only visitors. It was a really peaceful walk along the boardwalks, although we did think it felt eerie and a bit out of a scary film. We waiting for something to jump out of the water. There were notice boards around the place to read about the habitat and animals which were interesting to read. If you are passing that way, worth a stop.

This was a pleasant discovery. We had a lovely walk through here and at the time were the only people walking it.

Great short self-guided walk with clever informative signs to help identify the various species of mangroves, roots etc. About a 30 min loop sometimes beside a little rocky stream - a cooling wander in the shade of the forest on a hot day.

Great self-guided walk. The information signs provided were highly informative and we learnt to identify the various species of mangroves.

The cassovary just wondered to the board walk in front of us. Amazing. And quite scary to see a 1.5 m tall bird suddenly in front of you. But as I heard they do not attack people.

Another super boardwalk to have a relaxing yet very interesting wander. Lots of different flora & fauna seeing rainforest trees and mangrove swamp.

Wow. National parks has just renovated and improved this board walk and to their credit they have done a fantastic job. A must do walk in the Daintree.

We trekked this well built walk and learned even more about the different landscapes of the Rainforest regions. Worth a stop if you are self driving.

This walk is more about mangroves. There was not as much variety as Dubuji Boardwalk near Myall Beach which I would recommend over this one. It really depends what you want to see. This is nice to walk through and different to the other boardwalk. Still recommend a visit ti see the diverse ecology. The fig tree was cool.

Who knew there were so many types of mangroves! A really interesting walk along streams and through the mangrove/rainforest interface.

Who knew mangroves were so interesting! This raised boardwalk, which took us over a variety of types of mangroves, was fascinating & tranquil. I especially loved the look-out point over the water with its mesmerising reflections and thumb-sized birds. The info boards were frequent and well-written. You could do this in a brisk half an hour, but an hour would be better.
