The volunteers are so dedicated to their job, friendly and nothing is too much trouble, plenty of info available just a great place to drop in have a break, rest and a cup of tea. Lovely building right on the highway with ample parking. Lots of big shady trees and seating.

I agree with the other reviewers. My family and I dropped in to buy a map and ended up staying and talking with the staff here for a long time. They are very friendly and informative and Fern told us everything we needed to know about the melonfest weekend. They deserve a good review and even if you are just passing through its worth dropping in for a chat.

the centre is pleasant and really gives a feeling of the Chinchilla community. Thee are local crafts on sale. The day we went there was a huge pile of pumpkins and melons, it was the day before the melon festival. I would visit again next time we are there just to chat to the lovely ladies.

Another great tourist information centre and a few volunteers too.The Visitor Centre is located opposite the Pioneer Cemetery which is recognised as the first cemetery in Chinchilla. We stayed here almost an hour and had a great laugh here with the ladies in relation to lots of travelling stories. Great helpful and fun staff here.
