Loved the water fountains, especially the one tucked away under ferns, with sculpture ladies frolicking in the water! The 'Cathedral Tree' was exceptionally fascinating. Where the boughs dip down, they have taken root and grown as a new tree. So 'a walk in the forest' is really one tree. I have never before seen a garden quite like this.'

A stunning selection of trees from around the world interlaced with beautifully crafted bronze sculptures in a wonderfully designed garden. Open only a few months of the year, it is a must see when you visit Mt Wilson

Peter the owner kindly open the gardens for us althought it is generally closed mid weeek. It is a magical garden that has clearly been developed with so much loving care. The garden has a series of beautiful "rooms" that house the wonderful sculptures - some of which are playful (the boy and dog) and some of which are gracious (the female bathers in the water fal)l. It's autumn and the colours in the garden are magnificent. In our view this is the best garden at Mount Wilson and that's saying something as there is a lot of competition

Pristine gardens, beautiful fountains and ponds... not to mention the array of marvelous bronze sculptures around the property. There was a great area for the kids to play with play equipment and cubby houses! Great for all of the family

Laid out in 1870 by Sir Charles Moore the same guy who designed the sydney Botanical Gardens this beautiful garden was designed with incredible vision. Trees were brought in from all over the world some very rare specimens to see how they would grow in a cold climate, for example a Spanish Cork Tree which has grown huge and twisted in time, a cedar of Lebanon, and a Thuja Plicata or a western Red Cedar which came out from the USA in a pocket handkerchief and now stands with a 300 foot skirt around the base which looks like a giant Christmas tree from the out side! This garden is an experience to truly enjoy, open Spring and Autumn a must see!!!
