leighton gardens

These newly renovated gardens are alongside the main road, with the train line running on the other side, however, do feel rather peaceful. There is a nice gazebo and a few picnic tables where you can eat a picnic or takeaway from the shops across the road. They are very well maintained with lots of plants and lawn areas and bathroom facilities. If you are in the area they are nice to stop off at, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit them otherwise.

My husband and I got married in the lovely Leighton Gardens. We chose it as it is one of our local gardens and one of the most prettiest gardens in the Highlands. We had many beautiful photos taken in the gardens on our wedding day 12.12.12, it was lovely for our guests and visitors from interstate.

We visited during the Tulip season and it was absolutely fantastic. Thanks to all involved in making it happen!
