The pools are clean and very well organised with friendly staff available to explain the differing pool options. My wife and I enjoyed the hot spring taps in the pool on the right as you enter the pool area. The large tap with water flowing under some force was very relaxing when the flow was directed over our backs after driving for 6 hours that day.Next time we pass through Moree, we will make sure we leave enough time to fully enjoy the experience of luxuriating in the warm relaxing waters.

The private area is not as crowded as the public section and has the sauna attached. I find this area grate after a long day to wind down and relax in. The main section has the choice of hot pools, program pool and a lap pool.

We stayed at Moree so that I could try out the Artesian Baths because my parents had recommended them years ago. We arrived at Moree on a Sunday afternoon and the temperature was in the mid 30sC. I walked to the pools and tried them all out. They have pools with different temps varying from very hot to cool, Most people were in the coolest of the warm pools. I tried all the pools out but owing to the hot day I didn't spend very long in the hottest pool. There are signs up suggesting that you limit your time in that pool anyway. It was quite refreshing to go from the hot pools to the warm pool and you could have spent quite a bit of time relaxing in that pool. The cool pool was just a regular swimming pool and I swam some laps in it to finish off.

These baths have just undergone a major redevelopment. They are amazing. You can now either use the public mineral baths at a very reasonable price, (2 pools, either 38 degrees or 40 degrees) or a large swimming pool at very reasonable prices. Or you can take advantage of a new spa on the site, also very reasonable. Some people spend weeks here just to take the waters. Plenty of older eastern and southern Europeans visit here. A great, friendly experience.

We were recommended to go here by the Hotel owner and at first I was going to pay the extra money to go to the private area but after talking to the pool attendant we just went to the normal pools and weren't disappointed. There was hardly anyone there even though it was a Saturday and a Hot day. I really liked it that they had shade cloth over three of the pools. They have a 40 degree Celsius pool, 38 degree and a normal temp. then they have a little kiddies pool. Properly 25M Lap Pool and a waterslide you can pay extra for as well if you want. I Also really liked it that they had the big change rooms and also individual ones as well so you could use this as a family. The water came straight out of the ground and they had a couple of different types of massage jets to.The Waterslide looked like a lot of fun.My wife and I had a great time and really enjoyed the warm natural water. If we were in Moree again we would visit again.

We chose to travel to Moree from Brisbane for our summer holiday specially for the artesian pools. We were not disappointed. Although the hot pools were a little on the hot side for me the other pool was just perfect. It is extremely rare for me to be able to hop straight into a pool. It is usually too cold for me but this one I could have happily sat in all day. My 5 year old daughter and I bought the unlimited waterslide pass and had an absolute ball. I got to feel like a kid again. There is also a children's water play area. The centre catered for people of all ages from babies to the elderly. There were numerous changing rooms and toilets all within a step of the pools and they were clean and well equipped. There was plenty of seating and place to leave our bags. The staff were also friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this attraction to anyone.

I hadn't planned on checking out the hot baths in Moree but decided after a 12 hour drive that maybe it would be worth it. Well it was. I jumped in the 40 degree pool first off (without realizing how hot it really was) and it was a bit of a shock to start with! Once I had acclimatized, I used the powerful water jets to massage the back with the artesian waters. There were staff members counting people and checking water regularly. I heard it is emptied daily?? There was another pool at 30 degrees which was very relaxing too. Many people used that. There was also a fabulous water slide (opens for certain hours) and a great kids play area along with a kid's pool and an Olympic one. The entry was $8 for an adult and I thought that was pretty good given the vast choices available. The residents of Moree have had their rates money well spent. If I lived there, I would be a season ticket holder!

We stumbled upon the Artesian Aquatic Centre whilst passing through Moree. This is a superb attraction. The centre is spotlessly clean and the pools are a wonderful temperature and so relaxing. I thoroughly recommend this attraction if you are visiting Moree.

Good for a sore acing body if you don't have a big bath or spa at home. The council has spent a fortune of Moree ratepayers money upgrading it to look new and modern. It's now chlorinated and not as hot as the old pool. It's not cheap even for the locals who have already paid for it and should be open earlier in the morning and later at night when it's colder outside and more enjoyable to have a hot bath. The closing time is advertised 7pm but the staff will kick you out 20-30min before so they can go home early though there still happy to take your money at 6:30pm. Still worth a visit just a let down to the famous Moree hot baths we have all heard of or used to know.

We drove from the Gold Coast to Moree and arrived around 3.30pm. We went straight to the Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre after checking into our hotel. We were travelling with with two children, 3 and 6 and they were delighted with the kids facilities and the water slide. Total entry for the whole family, including unlimited slides for the kids was $32. The slide only opens at 4pm on weekdays and closes at 7pm. I believe it's open earlier on weekends, but if you are planning to visit here in the morning and the kids want to slide, it would be worth a call or email. The slide is brand new, I even went down it with Miss 3 (nearly 4) the first time to show her it wasn't scary. She was fine on her own after that. There are lots of pools to choose from. An Olympic sized lap pool that was at about 28 degrees when we visited (it was a hot day over 40 degrees in Moree that day). A therapy pool that is 32 degrees and then the two thermal pools, one at 38 and the other at 41. Both thermal pools have jets and sprays which were wonderful for targeting sore necks and shoulders after a long drive. I loved the hottest pool and hubby preferred the cooler one. Staff recommended we only stay in the hot pools for 10 minutes at a time and then cool off, but we noticed many locals that never got out of them!Such a wonderful facility and the staff were helpful and friendly too.

Only need a short time in these fantastic artesian pools to ease sore joints and make you feel new again. This is out third trip up here from Singleton, and we always come away feeling invigorated. Well worth the 4.5 hour drive.

Enjoy your laps in the lanes or just soak in the hot spa or be pampered with a massage or beauty treatment

This is a great facility for Moree. Very modern, exceptionally clean. Great for the whole family with water slides and toddlers pools. The Olympic size pool for people wanting to do laps, is artesian water cooled to around 26 or so degrees. The other 2 artesian pools today were about 37 and 40 degrees respectively with plenty of shade provided over the pools. There is also an onsite spa for massages etc. We spent about an hour in and out of the hottest pool.

This place is quite good. Very clean facilities and a great relaxing atmosphere. Little bit pricey at $15 a visit but in saying that I did feel good after being in the hot springs

Lovely warm indoor pools - just relax and enjoy. Outdoor pool also and slide for the kids. Most enjoyable.
