Really enjoyed Crooked River experience . Will love the Reds and white port . Hope to return. Has magnificent views over the vineyard.

After making a phone booking, on arrival we were told there was no booking in our name and no room left for us. After calling the manager we were excorted to a table. We waited some time for water, wine and a menu. After ordering we then waited one and a half hours for our meal!! The fillet of snapper was so small we only took 4 mouthfuls to eat it, we then asked for vegetable (extra cost) as we were still very hungry. The price was $60 per head for two courses, plus extra for vegetables. Grossly overpriced for what we got!We declined coffee for fear of having to wait another hour!The experience was extremely disappointing and as a local we will never return!

The red wine here has always been exceptional especially their saddle back mountain red and their black top cab sav. On this visit we tried the block 7 Chardonnay and omg this is devine and defiantly not your normal Chardonnay.If your in Gerringong pop into Crooked River winery but make sure there's room in your boot cause there will be something on that list you must have :-)

Just love the wines here, everything from Chardy, Chamourcin, Shiraz and more!! Also great food in the restaurant.

My boyfriend and I went to the vineyard for wine tasting and lunch and we were not disappointed. We had a fantastic tasting experience with Goody. He made us feel welcomed and nothing was to much to ask for. We ordered a bottle of wine and cheese and ate it on the bench beneath the tree while we waited for our lunch reservation. It was the best Saturday I've had in awhile. After we walked in and had lunch in the restaurant. The food and service were very good! We would go back in a heartbeat.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our food and wine! We both ordered the three course menu and everything was amazing. The chef did a marvellous job and his wife, who served us was a delight. Couldn't recommend it more! We will need to visit again soon during the day to view the beautiful vistas! We aren't much for tv's masterchef.. but can highly recommend this talented chef!!!Perhaps the south coasts best kept secret!

Our party of 4 dined there last weekend and the food was sensational with excellent presentation. My 10 hour slow cooked lamb was cooked to perfection,delicious entrees and desert- generous sized portions. Service from Beth was exceptional and very friendly - all choices on the menu were thoroughly explained to us plus Masterchef Coop Woodstone took the time to visit the table. It was a most enjoyable afternoon . Highly recommend the wine tasting before you go into the restaurant - a great selection of wines and friendly service.Lovely views from the restaurant and well worth driving up to the top of Saddleback Mountain to the lookout. Will definitely be back.JD

My boyfriend and I went to have lunch here on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The food was brilliantly cooked and the wine is amazing. While they were getting our table ready we had free wine tasting, with great service.The food is pricey, but we dont mind paying for good food. Overall we had a lovely day, gorgeous scenery, good service and excellent food. The Masterchef, Coop Woodstone also came to our table to greet us to explain our entree and how it was cooked.We would recommend the Saddleback Mountain for red wine lovers and Premium Chardonnay for white.We will definitely come again =)

We booked into the Crooked River winery cafe for their Valentines Day degustation menu with matching wines on a last minute whim. It was an awesome decision as the food wine and service were all outstanding. I highly recommend everything on the menu as well as many of the wines including the red wine and the chocolate port.

Have always driven past the vineyard and never had the chance to pull over and try the wines so last weekend we booked a table for 4 as we heard that Crooked River is now under new management and has a new head chef from masterchef. I ordered the pork belly and a bottle of premium Shiraz, just amazing!! The Shiraz was just perfect with my pork belly, so good that we ordered another 2 bottles after it and bought a mixed case to take home. Also tried there new craft beer, the Pale Ale is outstanding. My friend Michael purchased a case for us to share. Overall a great experience, see you in a few months :)

Came down here on the weekend with my girlfriend from Canada for lunch and to see the stomping of the grapes on our way to the south coast.They have recently reopened the restaurant and have an ex masterchef professional contestant Coop Woodstone running the show. The food and service was exceptional and we loved the wines. I read a review on here that the wines were too sweet, with 38 to choose from and the helpful staff, you are sure to taste many that appeal to your palette.All in all we had a great day on our way to the south coast, bought a case of wine and highly recommend people drop in for a visit. We will be back.

Not our style of wines. Everything seemed to be rather fruity or sweet...including their "dry" reds. If you like things at the sweeter end then go right ahead.

Beautiful wines and a great character serving them. Definitely worth a stop and grab a few bottles of the Chardonnay Block 7 among others.

This was a lovely place to taste a wonderful range of wines. We went with a group of friends we all enjoyed the time spent there. We were allowed to take a picnic in the grounds and enjoyed the wine tasting. The staff were lovely and also very knowlegable about the large range. I must say we were impressed by the wines, we all bought a case.
