burgess beach, forster

If you want a quiet beach in the middle of Forster, Burgess is the one. Protected from the southerly winds it is a great place to sunbake or just go for a quick dip or walk.The beach is quite rocky but there are a couple of nice rock pools. If the tide is low you can easily walk to the southern end where the beach is less rocky and the surf quite good. Just remember the beach is not patrolled.There is ample parking and a tap and shower at the top of the stairs.

I spent hours there getting photos of the waves breaking on the rocks. Probably saw maybe 5 other people in the whole time. good parking. lovely secluded spot. great for photography

Was there a few months ago. It is a great little beach with almost no one on it most times. What I loved most is the fantastic rock outcrops that go out into the water. Breakers breaking on the big rocks can be spectacular. I spent a lot of time there just exploring and photographing the constantly changing scene.
