The fragrant garden is still here, full of all manner of scented plants - on a hot, "summer's" day, there was a subtle scent of lavender filling the air. The chocolate shop and cafe is new, but well worth a visit - the handmade Belgian chocolates come in some different, but delicious, flavours. Definitely have a tasting with the chocolatier - you won't be disappointed!! Finish with a gin, vodka and liqueur tasting. Philip Moore is always happy to tell you about his products and their manufacture. Even non-drinkers will probably enjoy sampling the aromas of the various spirits. Always an enjoyable visit and we never leave empty handed!!

We were recommended to visit the distillery by a friend as we were staying in Terrigal for the weekend but were unprepared for what an amazing experience it would be. The master distiller Phillip greeted us personally and took us through his list of award winning gins and liqueurs.A thoroughly nice man and judging by the clink of bottles as we left a very skilled distiller. This is not one to be missed if you are in the area

If you're into your white spirits and liquors then you need to get yourself here. Your taste buds will thank you immensely! Great staff and very welcoming and informative experience. the only negative was my wallet was a lot lighter when I left...though I'm not complaining!!

I visited the Distillery with a friend. Cute little gardens and there is also a chocolate shop on site. We did some tastings at the distillery, my friend bought the gin (which was very nice) and I bought the Lemon Myrtle Liquor. They also make absinthe at this distillery. The distillery grounds are cute and lovely, and their liquors etc are very nice too.

A small distillery a short drive from Terrigal. There’s ~10 spirits and liqueurs for sampling (complementary). The Moore’s Gin, the Raspberry liqueur and coffee liqueur were our favourites. All reasonably priced. Disappointingly, on the day we visited (Saturday) a tour wasn’t available. The distillery would also benefit from a cafe.

We visited here on the way back to Sydney from Newcastle. It used to be the Fragrant Garden. The staff here are lovely. We were offered a tasting of everything on offer. There is a great range, something for everyone. The great thing is that there are large bottles and 250ml bottles available, so we ended up getting a few of our favourites.

The gentleman who owns the distillery was very passionate about his work and spent a long time explaining everything which was great. We also got to try everything and bought a few bottles there. Really interesting.

I've lived in Terrigal for 20 years and this place used to be The Fragrant Garden. I noticed a couple years ago it changed to the Distillery Botanica, but never got the chance to visit until my fiancee came to visit from the USA, and we stopped by.There was a wine tour going on, so we got to join in on that, and try tastings of the liquers. It was really interesting, and all the liquors tasted amazing. We definitely couldn't help walking out with a couple bottles. Prices for the bottles are a little higher than what you'd expect to see in a bottle shop, but the flavours are definitely unique and you couldn't get them in the bottle shop. They make a great gift!Doesn't take long for a visit, so if you're in the area, and you appreciate a good drop of wine or spirit, definitely worth a visit.

Visited a couple of months ago with no expectations (I'd driven past many a time and wondered what it was like). My partner and I were pleasantly surprised. We wandered through the garden, then had a look in at the distillery. The owner was very welcoming and offered us a tour and talk. I really enjoyed learning about the process of making various spirits and liqueurs. We got to taste several of the products and walked out with a bottle of the best Gin I'd ever tasted. Well worth visiting when you have an hour or so free.

A brief free tour and tasting is an excellent way to spend a little time, and every single drink we tried was fantastic, especially the Raspberry and the Lemon Myrtle

Tucked aweay in a bushland setting, the distillery can be easily overrlooked. This would be a mistake as, having found it, and entered the grounds, some very nice experiences are to be had. The distillery produces several liqueurs, as well as spirits (their gin is especially smooth). We tasted most of the products and especially liked the Lemon Myrtle Liqueur and the Raspberry Liqueur. The distillery has already won international awards, so you know that quality is guaranteed. definately worth a visit. By the way, some of the products pack a hefty punch!
