Excellent view of the mountains and must take a walk at one of the trails to enjoy the fresh air, blue sky and the greens.

Best time to go is after 5pm. Parking free & less crowds. Stunning views which look even better at sunset.

The view from Echo Point is breathtaking, you see a huge space in front of you. Something like a Great Canyon covered by a thick forest. Definitely worth visiting in a clear weather. It seems to be always crowded - we've been there in a rain and on a sunny day and there are always some bus tours and many people taking photos. Probably worth trying early in the morning.

Well worth a visit. Iconic, nice little shop, seats for a picnic if desired and parking when we went not a problem

We went at night it was magic. It was calming and relaxing . It lit up at night. So if you get a chance definitely worth doing

The best place to see the three sisters and start the gaint stairway. The only thing wrong is you have to pay for parking.

I was absolutely blown away by the scenery, forest so big that it has to be seen by your own eyes, not by pictures. GO THERE!

You can't visit Katoomba and not come to Echo Point. It is from Echo Point that you will get the iconic view of the Three Sisters that is "Katoomba". The council has upgraded the lookout and it really is quite a nice spot to come and look out over the valleys. The scenery is spectacular on a good day and you will come away knowing why the Blue Mountains are called "blue". You will need a bit of luck however, it's no good on a misty day and Katoomba gets plenty of those. So good luck and enjoy - you won't regret the visit.

The views of the Blue Mountains are amazing from Echo point lookout. The viewing platforms are really big so there's plenty of room.

You can see the Blue Mountains for miles and miles from this spot. It gives you a gorgeous view of the Three Sisters Rock formation and there are half a dozen spots to belly up to the railing so the view isn't limited to a few people at a time. If you're in the Blue Mountains, make sure you visit it!

Breathtaking views when the sky is clear. Try to go when it is quiet, early morning or later in the afternoon. On the downside Echo Point is On the schedule for just about every tour group and the Point gets very busy. But most groups just stop for long enough to take a few photos. Walk a few metres away and the number of tourists diminishes and it is much more peaceful.

Echo Point was busy as expected on Australia Day long weekend so if you have the time, a bus trip may be worthwhile so you don't have to find parking which is street parking. There is a lot of space at Echo Point so you won't be pushing against others, apart from when you want the best view of the three sisters at the fence. There are also a lot of walking options that others didn't seem to take advantage of - there are other views of the sisters and mountains/valleys from around the walks. One comment is that the information kiosk closes at 5pm which is too early in summer with day light savings - there were still a lot of people wandering around at 6pm.

The view is as expected. Parking is very awkward before 5pm. I'd rather pay a fee to use the viewing decks than deal with figuring out the parking fees. We found parking a number of blocks.
