A lot quieter than the Three Sisters area but with views to match and a great view of the waterfall. A number of walks available, but lots of steps so not as accessible as some areas.

Fabulous views, great place for all ages. BBQ facilities, paved walking track as well as gravel tracks.

Another very fine Blue Mountains vista. One thing to note, from this older mostly quite unfit and short person - the walk to the Pulpit (2.5 km) is truly at least 1.5 hours long. And for shorties like me, a major challenge and workout. Many very difficult "stairs" to negotiate. I did feel most pleased to make it to my destination but, my bad, forgot to take my water (very necessary), and then had to do the track in reverse to get back to our vehicle. Note to self - in future, arrange for second vehicle in Pulpit car park so only need to do one way!

great view from this lookout! We walked for 2 hours on the Cliff Top Trial from Evans Lookout to Govetts Leap. This is a very easy walk and I would recommend it to family travellers. My daughter of 10 yrs old and my parents in their ealry 70's has no problem to handle this one way walk.

The walk from Govetts Leap to Bridal Veil Falls and back is a moderate walk but is steep in sections but worth the effort. Make sure you go past the falls and on to the next lookout which is only 100 metres or so past the falls. Gives a good view back to the falls and the track that goes down into the valley. Track is in good condition.

Fantastic walk along well kept path with stunning views along the way. Takes approx 45 mins one way - take plenty of water! Less touristy than 3 sisters - staff very helpful in visitor centre and will give advice

A great location to visit if you are holidaying in Blackhealth or nearby towns in the Blue Mountains. Great views of the mountains. We actually walked to Govetts Leap from Parklands, the resort we were staying. A nice walk.

A great place to visit and admire the Australian bushland and less crowded than the over popular Three Sister's

Having just visited Katoomba and seeing wonderful views, we were amazed by the view at this lookout. Can't believe we have been driving past it for years and not know about it. It has the biggest waterfall I have ever seen. I would highly recommend stopping at this lookout. Magnificent !!!!

One of the most impressive view that visually tells how the landscape was progressively formed. The dense forest is unspoiled and has not changed. You feel away from all! If you walk from Blackheath and have walking boots it will take an hour to reach the Leap starting from Blackheath Pool and trough the forest. The colours are at its best in the late afternoon. You could then return using the main street.

Beautiful views and walking tracks and away from the hundreds of tourists at the Three Sisters. On a clear day you can see for miles. We went after a storm and the water fall was in full flow which made for fantastic photos.

We enjoyed fantastic views at Govetts Leap lookout in Blackheath! Most people don't go further than Katoomba when travelling to the Blue Mountains but they're missing out on even more spectacular views by not going 10 minutes further up the mountains to Blackheath.

There is nothing else to be said about this place. It is as beautiful as it has been for the last couple of thousand years. Hiking trails are well maintained on the whole although in recent months (since the last election actually) there have been far fewer National Parks staff in evidence - which is a shame as they're always a font of knowledge.

This is a world heritage iisted site. It is both scenically magnificent and awe inspiring. It is a must do in the Blue Mountains region of NSW. Take your time to sit and feel the energy there. It is breathtaking. Try to avoid visits on weekends or public holidays, as there can be up to 200 visitors there at a time.
