The hosts were lovely and generous. Would stay here again. Fresh farm eggs provided daily along with a bottle of wine.

Had a fabulous time at Edenmae. There were views aplenty and we were free to roam the property to see the vineyards and all the delightful animals. A bottle of the estate sparkling was there for us to enjoy upon arrival and we were able to call Michelle and request another bottle of their fabulous Shiraz to enjoy over our bbq dinner. The kitchen was well kitted out for us to cook our own meals, along with the bbq on the back verandah. Our breakfast supplies were ample including fresh eggs from the farm chooks. The lounge/dining area was well set up with very comfy leather lounges, dining table, aircon/heating. As animal people we enjoyed the company of the dogs and the cat, Tofu:)We were also really interested in finding out more about the vineyard and the winemaking process and both Michelle and David were kind enough to offer us some guided tours around the vineyard and the barrel room. Thanks Edenmae, we'll be back the next time we're in the Barossa.

We first visited Edenmae a few years back with our kids in their teens. The kids loved all the animals and we all enjoyed walks around the beautiful property. Most recently it was just my husband and I and we fell in love with Edenmae all over again. Our hosts were relaxed and attentive yet not intrusive. We walked around the perimeter of the property at our leisure and really enjoyed the views. The cabin was cosy and clean and the local produce a real treat. Could not fault our stay, we will be back again, thanks Edenmae

We absolutely loved staying here. Beautiful little place to stay. Enjoyed walking around the vineyard and having a wine in spa. Owners are friendly, as are the animals. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Edenmae!

wow, where do I start....We've been operating Edenmae Vinestay for over 5 years now & have in that time have only received one (1) unfavourable review. Not bad, given we're booked out every weekend. We specialise in families, couples & groups. We rarely receive bookings from dual couples as the cottage does not lend itself to this market. That fact is very clearly outlined in the FAQ's offered on first contact. The FAQ's cover everything: the view; the single bedroom; provisions; complimentary wines; distance of the homestead from the cottage; the fact that we run a cellar door & vineyard and will therefore be unlikely to be present on arrival; local attractions; fire wood supplies; etc., etc.. The list is comprehensive & it's encouraged at the beginning of the correspondence that guests should read prior to booking to avoid disappointment. Unfortunately we cannot make prospective guests read the FAQ's, but 99% do & will not book if the cottage is deemed unsuitable for their needs. There are plenty of images on the net - the cottage was cosy, the heater's were on, the beds were warm, the breakfast provisions were in the fridge (local eggs, local juice, local milk, butter, local jam, local bread & cereal). The 2012 Riesling & 2013 Pinot were in the cottage on arrival. Everything would have been immaculate & inviting.Guess you can't please everyone...
