surf & sun middleton

On this long weekend we took a friend for a drive down South. There were many attractions on the journey. For people visiting, our first stop was in Hahndorf. You could stay there all day and still not see all. We went to one of our favourite bakeries named "Otto's. If you don't want to indulge stay away. The pastries and cakes are reasonably priced and the coffee superb. There are other attractions on the way. Beerenberg and the Strawberry Farm is a great stopover if you want to pick your own strawberries and reasonably priced. For lunch we went to the Middleton Tavern. The meal was delicious, reasonably priced, family orientated and plenty of salads and hot dishes to choose. We will go there as often as we can. From the city it would probably take a little over an hour but is well worth it. If you want a nice day out try this for an enjoyable experience.

Easy to book and easy to learn. My teenage son gave it 10 out of 10. Excellent instructors, both friendly and professional. Prompt start. Program covers all ages. I wish I had done it myself. Next time! Would highly recommend as a family experience.

This is my son's 5th time sound surf groms with surf and sun, and he won't have it any other way. He has had many of their instructors, they are all fabulous and each of them brings their own flair to the lessons. The only complaint my son had is that it took them to long to provide level 4 and 5 surf groms programs. Thank you Surf and Sun for providing the best learning environment for my 10 year old as well as respecting my own paranoia and setting me at ease.

The Best place to learn to Surf. My daughter stood up on the board on her first lesson. The Instructors were so helpful and friendly, my daughter had a ball. I was impressed by the total professionalism of the company, a real pleasure to have dealt with them.It was great to see a beaming smile on my daughters face, when she stood up on the board for the first time.

My daughter and I stood up first lesson! Our instructors were encouraging and helpful, and we always felt safe. We enjoyed our lesson so much we have made it a weekly event.

Such an awesome morning with Surf & Sun. I booked a group lesson for myself and family visiting from the UK, never having surfed before and most of us were on our feet in the water first day. The staff were great and friendly. They made sure everyone knew what they were doing and had fun in the water. I will be going back soon with my partner who at the last minute couldn't make it and is jealous of the pictures that were taken.

Great instruction, perfect waves, lovely location... A great place to learn to surf.... On my feet first day!

All the instructors are so lovely and helped out so much when you struggle! It was so fun and just a great day
