    来到Alice Spring必定去的景点之一,原住民的风情,美丽的观光步道,值得一来!附近还有原住民为主题的展览馆,结束步道的行程后可以到这里来些冰凉的,好好休息放松一下。

Like Uluru this is an interesting site. Take the time to understand what your seeing and treat it with respect.

Uluru was impressive to look at, but I have to say, Kata Tjuta had more power for or was that ‘over’ me. I felt that way long before I found out about the ceremonies: As I neared the impressive 36 domes, it felt like a certain place that would touch me and make a big impression for a reason I could not explain. Just that it had ‘something’ - and invariably I found out afterwards that it is an area where the Aboriginal owners still have a strong connection with their land and still look after it. Call it the ‘dreamtime’ spirits [a term which the Anangu people do not use] or nature spirits, call it what you like, there is something that disappeared when too many people trample through a place that they neither understand nor truly appreciate for all its values. Was it that simple? I did not know. A must to see and experience for yourself.

These are, in their way, as magnificent as Uluru - though to me they did not have the same atmosphere of brooding serenity that exudes from the big boy - but still very very worth a visit

We went to Kata Tjuta by AAT Kings coach. Impressive arrangement of rocks, in sum 36. Problem with the coach: not much time, just get out, do the walk, back to the bus.I would go back to Kata Tjuta and explore further, just rent an own car to be independent and safe lots of bucks at the same time.

At first when we saw Kata Tjuta from a distance driving in it looked equally if not more impressive than Uluru. Once you get up close however it loses a little bit of that allure. We didn't have time to hike here (only Uluru) but if you're planning a visit I would do some research on Kata as well because you will need multiple days to do both.

We drove up from Uluru but did not have time to hike into the valleys so it was all a little low key (especially after confronting the massive one-piece lump of Uluru). Didn't stay long and drove back to Uluru for more sightseeing and walking there.

Red rocks under the blue sky is such an iconic picture of the outback Australia. To walk among the giant domes with heat and many flies (in summer) is a very authentic outback experience.

Kata Tjuta are some enormous rocks located in the middle of nowhere, then you only can see this rock in 50 km around. It is so wonderful, beautiful, great! I do not have words to describe this nature wonder! You can walk in some marked walks. It is so interesting! You can do the Valley of the Winds walk in the Rocks (it is amazing!), a walk in the Rocks. Moreover, this is part of a rich heritage of Aboriginal people. You have to see the sunset and the sunrise in Kata Tjuta, it is wonderful, too! And I recommend you that you see Kata Tjuta when rain, when be sunny, when there are clouds, etc. all is different and the colour of the Rock change sometimes in the day!

We stopped here on our 1st day in the National park and should have gone back, wow what a place and the walks when open and just great although again 36c+ and they shut the Valley of the winds. what's going on here its always this hot.....Anyway stopped in the car part in the sun and went to the water tanks and got ants coming out oh well glad we brought our own water, then off we go up the path into the mountains, ops that's enough, you need to go to see the rest but its very good I am telling you. The mountains are amazing

Kata Tjuta is a relatively unknown rock formation near to Uluru in the National Park and is truly spectacular, go in the early morning or in winter so that it isn't too hot and bring a light jacket as it is cooler in the shade of the rocks. From a distance Kata Tjuta looks pretty impressive, and its name means 'many heads' as it looks like heads sticking out of the ground. It is as you get closer that you really appreciate how enormous it is, and exploring one of the many crevices makes you feel tiny in comparison. If you're lucky you may see kangaroos or wallabies at one of the many water holes within the formation.

We took a tour of Kata Tjuta through the AAT Kings from Yulara resort and were not disappointed. This is a beautiful rock formation that doesn't get nearly the same amount of press as it's cousin Uluru. However, I found the trip out here well worth it. Although Uluru has the impressive size, I found the formations here much more impressive. Being able to walk between these huge boulders was a real treat.

Kata Tjuta is a series of rock domes in the middle of the Australian Northern Territories and equals its better known rival, Uluru (Ayers Rock), in its grandeur. Both Kata Tjuta and Uluru are within sight of each other so can be visited during a single trip to the area. The sunrise and sunset tours are highly recommended. Beware the extreme heat and the flies and come prepared for both.

The Olgas are truly amazing in their shape and configuration. We didn't venture too far in to see them as it was 42 degrees and mid afternoon (do your touring first thing in the morning or late in the afternoon) but even from afar they are a collection of rocks that make you happy to be there :)

I'd no knowledge of Kata Tjuta till we arrived at Uluru Resort and met our guide. This was a great surprise and the walk up Walpa gorge will be remembered by all who walked. 47c is really hot and is an experience. Who'd expect to see tadpoles swimming in the litle streamlet from the rains earlier in the week?Valley of the Winds walk must be done early in the morning as the safety rules close it to walkers when the temp is 36c. this excursion is well worth the effort and discomfort to see and experience the nature and climate. TIP for your visit. You must have water bottle and if you have an umbrella, it helps to shade you from the worst of the sun's power. The first peoples lived here for thousands of years before the arrival of the white man, They didn't have airconditioned buses/ cars but managed anyway. I admire and respect their knowledge
