As we came up to the view point we saw some belugas and seals. It was timely some staff from the Marine Mammal Interpretation Center was there and give a presentation of the history and marine life of the area.

I really enjoyed this little walk from the boat pier around to near the Marine Centre. The boardwalk is well maintained with interesting information boards. It was a lovely sunny day the day I walked it and the views of the St Lawrence River and Saguenay Fjord were great..Recommended.

Great place to check out whales and cruise ship entering the Fjord. Paths are clean and information is provided on site.

Well maintained boardwalk. Bring a jacket and sit a while at he point and you will surely see some minke whales.

Utterly beautiful one of my all time favourite views and that includes sunrise on tiger hill in the Himalayas

We were lucky enough to combine a beautiful sunny day with an active group of mink whales frolicking in the river about a hundred yards off the shore. We sat and watched them for a good long time, enjoying the scenery and the weather. The path is reasonably easy to get around and somewhat granny-friendly, depending on the granny. It's worth taking the time to walk around the point if you're there.

Such a lovely spot, but we didn't see any sign of whales. It's worth walking out there, however, just for the view.

Easy to moderate fjordside trail steps from the main drag of Tadoussac. Mostly boardwalk interspersed with rock trails. Don't skip the expository boards that provide sufficient info of the area including its wildlife. Bring a jacket. Temperature can drop fast.

Easy and fun "hike" through woods, on rocks and on wooden boardwalk. We loved it. Perfect for our 4-year old son and for us!

Beautiful vantage point. I was lucky to spot 2 belugas & 1 minke from here. Get there & watch the sunrise - you'll love it!

This is a great 20 - 30 minute walk (or longer if you decide to linger on the rocks or sit on many of the benches). The views of the Saguaney River are beautiful. The walk travles along a boardwalk, rocks and includes a number of small stairways.

Definitely worth the time to stroll along the boardwalk and well-marked trails and take in the scenery in Tadoussac. Not a strenuous or technical walk, but natural trail and rocky path with some steps -- fine for kids or mobile seniors. Bring a jacket or sweater so that you are comfortable stopping to appreciate the views - as it can be chilly/windy out on the rocks! If you are lucky, you may even see some whale action in the waters.

The trail starts to the left of the marine center up a flight of stairs. It starts in the woods and suddenly out you pop on the rocks overlooking the bay. We saw a whale swimming and diving. What a treat. This is easily done with kids and it is not handicap accessible. However, if you have limited mobility there is a nice view of the rocks and bay from the marine center.

We hiked this trail with our dog and two young kids, aged 7 and 10, and all of us loved it!The scenery is breathtaking, the fauna and flora is so varied, and the lookout midway down the trail, overlooking the mouth of the Saguenay River, makes it all worth it. Small whales and belugas can be seen from here, though when we were there, we only saw a few small whales at a distance. Regardless, a definite must on anyone's list of things to do while in Tadoussac.Don't miss the other trails around town, including the Dunes, the Beach, and Pointe-Noire across the harbour in Baie-Ste-Catherine.

On peu y voir des baleines de temps en temps .Le sentier est bien aménagé et on peut prendre tout notre temps pour faire de l'observation et profiter du grand air.
