I came here for the first time with my girlfriend and I honestly thought spa's before this were where people who were flamboyant or feminine went if you weren't a girl. Since most spas at least in New Brunswick are designed for girls. This spa however blows all the other ones out of the water. There is nothing like this on the east coast and is deffenatly one of the most relaxing places I've been. The staff is also friendly and willing to work to make sure your experience is pleasant. Mine started off rough but it was more or less my fault since I didn't ask for English instructions my girlfriend just gave me an outline of what to do and locked my stuff in the wrong locker but the staff was friendly enough they fixed the problem as fast as they could. The rest of the time out in the actual spa was nice it's all outdoors and quiet you don't hear the cars from outside pass by and even the people don't talk loud. Everyone there is respectful and the atmosphere is so great. To be honest I wish they would make one in Moncton because I miss being there. I know for sure this is a place I'll be going next time I'm in Terrebonne.

I decided to go up to the spa alone on a weekday vacation day. What an incredible experience. It was very cold outside but i wouldnt have known it. Beautiful clean accomodations. So relaxing and peaceful.

There were several different kinds of saunas (Finlandais, Russian), and steam houses (aromatherapy). The small bistro type restaurant was excellent. It was clean, quiet, and relaxing. The Swedish massage was average. Extra charges for the bathrobe, towel, and water were a bother.

First time revisiting the spa after the new rebuilt. Really enjoyed the facility, the hot tubs are well kept, the new floating chairs are a good idea however there are not enough of them for the amount of people visiting. The bisto offers a good variety of food and beverages. My biggest complaint is the change room! What's up with that? You are so tight you can't even get to your locker when there is one person in the alley. Also; the rented towel is more like a hand towel; they should charge half the price because it is only half a towel! Would go back but going to ask for a better situated locker and bringing my own bath towel!

I had been to this spa before it was redone and it is equally, if not more beautiful than it was before. The atmosphere is rustic and warm with wood and rock everywhere. It is a good sized spa with lots of variety so you could spend several hours there and not do the same thing twice. One thing we did go back to was the "Bubble Experience" though. You basically sit in suspended pods in a hot tub - very relaxing and very original as I have not seen this in other similar spas in Quebec. Another thing that was also original but strange in my opinion was the multisensorial room. You sit in an egg-shaped chair in a room on the 3rd floor of one of the buildings and they play music and the chair vibrates. We were told it was a massage but it felt more like a subwoofer rumbling in the seat of the chair. I won't be trying that again and didn't find it complemented the spa atmosphere well. But that being said, the grounds were clean, lots of staff around, beautiful setting, reasonably priced, etc. Small criticism - maybe enlarge the size of the towels. They are more like hand towels than bath towels.Overall, I am looking forward to my next spa experience there.

Spa Le Findlandais is a paradise just outside the city. Absolutely loved it here.Went to spend the day with a friend and I was surprised to see how beautiful it was. I have been to multiple nordic bath but this one was by far my favourite so far. The staff is welcoming and the grounds are modern and very clean. There is a little lunch bistro on site that is a little pricey but still delicious. GET A MASSAGE you will love every minute! My only complaint was that we paid extra to rent a bathrobe and it got wet during our circuit in the tubs and we asked to change it for a dry one before lunch and they said no…. I spent 10$ to rent one the least you can do is give me a dry one.

Location is great, recently remodeled summer 2014. New additions to the site are hot vapor sauna and floating chairs.Downside are:Massage could be stronger and shiatsu could be cheaper.Hot vapor sauna could be cleaner as people walk where we sit. And ceiling has calcium deposit on itFloating chairs are hogged by people who don't follow the 15 min rule. This place is definitely recommended and I will go back as many times as I can.

Very professional, excellent body care and surroundings, as far as spas go, this is it! Lot of class.

Haven't been to this spa since it reopened this year and have to say Love the improvements. New women's bathroom/locker room. New building with russian sauna and also love the bulle experience! Plenty of lounge area, a bar and indoor eating area. Only problem. Parking, but they have valet!

I've been to Spa Filandais about four times now and the experiences have varied. The amenities are beautiful and it is indeed a relaxing experience. There are a few things that could be improved. For starters, there are no complementary towels or robes- okay, no biggie. I always rent a robe for 10$ and bring my own towel to shower after (no shampoo or conditioner either). BUT if I am paying 10$ for a robe, I should be able to get a dry one or put mine in a dryer, since after a couple of times of putting it on after the hot bath, its soaked. Also, the girls working at the cafe upstairs really need an attitude adjustment. And this was an issue i've had every time I've been to the spa, and my friends and family have experienced the same. They are rude and afraid of English (one of them ran away from me to get another employee when i asked for a small coffee, oh which reminds me: dont get the coffee or lattes)

Its not far away from Montreal, so you can relax and enjoy your time, and come back home, not spend a night out, pay for hotel, like you are going to far to Mont Tremblent or around.

We go there once or twice a year, very clean, well organized with good massages. You can do 3-4 different routines of hot/cold/rest with either a steam sauna dry sauna or hot bath. There is a restaurant with neatly food and you can eat your meal with a glass of wine. We love to take a day off and go there without the kids once in a while. We feel like we are at a resort somewhere else for a day... But just minutes away from Montreal. OH YES!Bring a book and an extra towel.

Been here a few times and the renovations have helped, opened up the lobby space more. Massages are worth it and the pools and spa rooms are well kept. Unique features of crushed ice is new and a cool addition.

Our friend was getting married, so we took her there to spoil her before her wedding. It is extremely well organized. The swedish massages and the facial treatments were really nice. The prices were really good (We had a great promotion, so check the website before you call and book). There is so much you can do, different saunas and baths. The place is extremely beautiful! Everything was super clean. They give you a magnetic bracelet key for your locker. Many hair dryers were available in the women's bathroom. It was very quite, no talking permitted at all (at some point it was a little bit annoying, because you could be literally whispering to your friend, and then someone would come stand in front of you with a sign saying that you should lower your voice). The bistro's prices were reasonable, but also no talking permitted even when eating in the bistro's balcony. Taking photos was strictly prohibited, it's too bad specially if you are going there for a certain event/occasion. But overall, it was a great experience. Amazing spa! I will definitely go there again!
