This place should redefine themselves. As I was hoping to find a Spa environment I was rushed to change to proceed to the massage which Massage therapist was 20 minutes late. The receptionist was more eagered to get my visa than providing a friendly welcome. The locker rooms were dirty with hair in the shower area, needless to say a shedding poodle would have a cleaner area. The massage therapist seemed not happy to be working that day. He tried to sell me this balm for $15.00 extra, which I declined...Why those additional charges when I paid nearly $200.00 upfront by the non charming receptionist and the cold manager Ashley. The therapist came in late and I was cheated 15 minutes on the massage session. He told me bluntly to go in the spa to relax some more. What a good way to feel relaxed. I asked for a receipt. He did not have any available. I paid and now I don’t have a valid and formal receipt for insurance claim. I reported to the front desk they said they will mail it to me the following day. I gave them all of my personal information and address. ...Over one month later no receipt. Called 6 times to get the famous attitude which appear to be the norm across the AMERISPA management. They said they were not responsible for the receipt since the massage therapist was performing the service. WRONG you people. My contract was with AMERICASP not with their sub contractual. They refused to collaborate and I am now bringing this forth to the Better Business Bureau and Small claim court in Quebec... I also contested my VISA charges and requested compensations from the management who offered me 2 free sessions in their obsolete SPA ....NOT INTERESTEX LADY...And quite bluntly back to you... Get a life and stop screwing your ONCE customers.... No one will ever set foot in those premises ever.

What a magnificent location for this oasis of relaxation and rejuvenation. Splendid facilities, well-maintained, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Laurentians; perfect! We plan to return for a full day, including a pedicure and lunch at the Bistro.

This was my first visit to a spa and it was a really nice experience that I would definately recommend. The spa is beautifully situated, immaculately clean, and the hot and cold pools (baths) were very nicely spaced out, large enough to never feel crowded as well as fun and rejuvenating. The treatments we received (pedicure and massage) were professional and enjoyable. We had a great lunch in the bistro which was a perfect amount of food as well as delicious and reasonably priced. There are plenty of chairs to relax in outdoors around a wood fire that is kept burning all day. I have two comments that prevent me from giving a five star rating. First - more towels! One smallish thin towel is not enough when you are in an out of pools all day. After lunch, wrapping a cold damp towel around myself while standing outdoors in the winter was not pleasant. A towel area to leave wet towels and pick up a dry one would be great. Second (and more importantly) the emphasis on being quiet is over the top. I work in a library and was very surprised to hear the attendant immediately ask two women to lower their volume. They were chatting and laughing quietly but not in a way that was distracting at all. The same attendant was also very quick to jump on anyone who used their cell phone to take a picture. Really? It's a gorgeous place, of course we want to take a picture as a souvenir. Naturally rowdy behaviour and ringing cell phones would not be acceptable but normal conversation of the sort that is tolerated in libraries should be permitted. I would have been happy to have the same attendant speak to the man who entered the sauna inappropriately dressed in underwear only or the middle aged couple canoodeling in the pool, but unfortunately he did not.All in all a great day, especially enjoyed sitting comfortably outside in a bathing suit suit and robe in the middle of winter surrounded by beautifully scenery.

i'm not easily impressed, but this place took my breath away!for all the people, who appreciate relaxation, pools, sauna, massage - it's a MUST visit. devote, at least, half a day to it. a whole day is even better. believe me, in the end of the day, you wouldn't want to leave!imagine yourself in a pool of 39 degrees celsius, the trees covered in snow - as if an image from a Christmas greeting card. all the facilities are new, flawlessly clean & very well maintained.the bistro offers mainly sandwiches & drinks - it is not recommended to eat a lot, while swimming or going to a sauna.talking on the phone & taking pictures of the place is absolutely forbidden. one has to maintain silence & talk only in whispers.it was a bit hard to find the place online, so here is the website's adress:http://www.amerispa.ca/en/our-spas/nordic-spa/morin-heights

It looks good on pictures but just know this: you cannot talk inside the Scandinavian baths and you cannot take any pictures whatsoever. (and also nowhere else on the site). It is customary to not talk in the relaxation areas and the saunas, that's normal and everywhere. However, I've been to 4 other scandinavian spas and I never had an attending literally follow me and my companion all the time preventing us from laughing and talking in the baths themselves. I am quite honest with this. I've been to the other spas with several people, and none of us attracted any attention there. If you want to be there in silence of course this is a good place for it. There is nothing wrong with the spa itself otherwise, but then again, there is absolutely nothing outstanding or special about it either.

If you can go during the week you will avoid the crowds. We went on a Wednesday and were very satisfied with all they had to offer. The best spa overall, not the biggest, we have visited yet. Friendly, efficient, clean and reasonable. You come out a new person.

A short drive from the hustle and bustle of Montreal to be greeted by this cute chalet style retreat!Upon entry, we were given the standard breakdown of how things worked etc. and shown to our changing area with locker key in hand. Locker was petite and could be a hassle when crowded, but we were pretty much the only people there so far. A robe, towel and sandals were provided and we quickly went to relaxation town. Halfway through the day we booked massages, upon arrival we were greeted appropriately and taken to our rooms for the 50 min. therapeutic massage. The massage was OK, nothing amazing. Finishing the day with a few more cycles in the baths we finished our stay. Overall great spa/relaxation day! My only suggestion is to have some simple toiletries available (ex: Body lotion etc.) for the end of stay. Will return!

Full Review of Amerispa Station BaltiqueFront Desk Staff: Excellent, friendly and helpful. They provided us with a towel, a robe and slippers if you didn't bring your own for free.Spas: Multiple kinds including a super steamy eucalyptus, very hot sauna, two relaxation rooms, and different outdoor temperature pools (hot, warm, cool, freezing). Waterfalls were very nice to stand under with strong pressure which felt like a massage. Showers and bathrooms were everywhere.Main Changeroom / Bathroom: Really nice with hair dryers, really good shower gel in the showers, and lockers.Cleanliness: Wow clean! I couldn't find anything that was dirty, I actually looked.Area / Ambiance: We went in December so everything was covered in snow. Very picturesque located on a forested hill, beautiful, tranquil and natural. It also seems they only allow a certain number of people in because even on a holiday weekend it wasn't crowded at all.Bistro: They have a cute bistro which overlooks a forest which is nice. We didn't have any food but, it was all light and very fresh looking. Not to mention you could buy wine, nothing like drinking wine in a bathrobe. As a side note there is free tea in the lounge area by the massage rooms / main change room.Massage: Here is the huge issue I personally had. After meeting with my masseuse I walked into the room and she wanted me to smell different creams. After listening to her for quite some time, she then hits me with the fact that these are all additional charges. Now after all this time I feel bad and go ahead and get one. The cream I choose was $15, for an ounce, which is crazy! By the way, totally not worth it, just some menthol in it to make my skin tingle. Even if unicorns blessed in front of me I still don't think it would be worth that much. I really feel I was ripped off in this regard. Offer additional services when I check in at the front desk, don't try to up sell me right before I hit the table for my relaxing massage. I have been to multiple high end spas and this has never happened to me before. I had the therapeutic massage and it was okay, it wasn't strong at all nor did I like the movements. Friends who got the relaxation massage said it wasn't like getting a massage at all. My Bottom Line: I would go again but, just for the baths, I wouldn't get any massage services.

we went for the evening package and practically had the place to ourselves- all the pools were lovely and relaxing and everything had a real "zen" feel- I would go here again!

We only visited this spa to see if it would be worth actually trying it out but then decided against it. At first glance inside & onto the grounds it seemed inviting. However, the young woman at the reception who "greeted" us was somewhat abrupt and indifferent. Despite the place being rather vacant, she seemed preoccupied and uninterested in us even being there. Nonetheless, we managed to still get a samll presentation of the spa. However, during her presentation she admitted that the reason for 2 of the baths not working was because stones had fallen away from their structures and had to be repaired?! Perhaps it might have been worth a try but between the poor customer service and the idea of falling stones which didn't seem too secure, we opted to go elsewhere.

Merci Magalie
