It was the first time I brought my kids here and the last. The place is awefully dirty, it is very expensive for not much. The kids go in these little rooms that are decorated. The decorations and toys are probably 15 years old and worn down. Not much fun for children over 5 or 6. If you are planning on going to a museum, I think it is best you drive a little further to go see a REAL museum. This place is not a museum at all! I really don't get why I had to pay 10 $ to go in win the kids... There is litteraly NOTHING to do for parents.

My son absolutely loves it here! It is a fun atmosphere where children have a hands-on experience pretending to be different professionals. It's also great that they have picnic tables at the entrance where you can bring your own lunch or if you prefer you can leave for lunch and come back after. Most activity centers in the area only allow one entrance, if you leave you must pay to get back in...I would highly recommend to families with young children.

My two year old had hours of fun at this "museum" on our recent vacation to Montreal. I agree with other posters that it isn't exactly a museum, but rather a hands-on experience of various professions. My son ran the siren in the ambulance, studied x-rays at the veterinarian's office, and wore a flight suit in the space shuttle. Well worth the trip out to Laval!

We visited this site as part of an outing with my daughter's daycare. The place for sure has some interesting aspects but really lacks the educational side. My 3 year old retained nor learned anything new. I think there is huge opportunity for them to expand on this through animation and sensory experience. The animators were disorganized and not engaging at all. They offered an animation which was too long, aggressive and loud. And the location of these animations should be conducted elsewhere when there are other groups playing around. It was a huge source of distraction for me this kids. They should consider either cancelling that activity or invest more effort and resources in making it at least relevant. Two guys yelling and pretending to cry for 30 minutes was very painful. A 2 year old does not have the patience to sit through a boring performance while there are so tempting toys to discover! I am glad we got to experience this once but sadly I would not return. I think most of their business must come from daycares desperate to offer an interesting outing.

My nephews love this place. And their favorite is the fishing boat. I think it's a very interesting place for children . Not that much a museum rather a play center.

I went there with 2 of my grand-children (3 and 5). They had the time of their life. They sat in a police car, an ambulance, played grocery shopping, restauranteur, sang in a theatre, visited the veterenarian, came down the fireman's pole and saw a short sketch from the staff on the fishing boat. It is expensive if you rush through the site. but consider that they are going to spend an hour and a half of pure fun and the only computer on site is the cash register at the grocery store.

this place isn't a museum! it is different setups (supermarket, class, farm, cop car, fishing boat, etc.). It is onlt for small children, maximum of 8 years old. if not, it could get boring. in a maximum 3h, the whole tour will be done. so for only 3h, it is pretty pricey. it ia about 15 $ per kid and 9$ per adult plus taxes! sor for a family of 4, it would be expensive for only 3h. I don't see the point of making adults pay!! The place could also get crowded and if so, kids won't really enjoy their time!!

This place is great for kids aged 2 to 8 ! We loved it ! The staff is kind and helpful ! We can bring our own lunch and there's many show during the day. Kids didnt want to leave after ! The staff are costumed and they interact with everyone. Even if the place is busy, there's its still fun to go.Parents can play with kids everywhere, in the classroom, in the ambulance, in the restaurant !Would highly recommend.

Went with my 2 kids today, the place wAs full of daycamp kids, it was overwhelming, noisy and way over crowded. My 2 young kids werent able to do much and the staff refused to compensate. Place is dirty and toys are old. Stay home or go to an outside park!

The kids loved to play and act and learn about professions, it's really the place to go for children, especially during winter, or when it is raining outside...perfect for our Canadian climate.

I went there with my 2 daughters (ages 3 and 6)and their friends. The museum is divided by sections, each containing a line of work. The kids loved the fact that they could touch and try different things. They especially liked the ambulance and fire truck. They could actually spend the day without getting bored. The only negative side is that there is no restaurant on site. They have a couple of picnic tables that you can use if you bring your own lunch, but no fridge and if the tables are taken you have to wait. So bring some food, drinks and your camera and have fun.

This place is so expensive for nothing. This is not a museum. Materials are old. This place is falling to pieces. I would avoid bringing your children here . They will probably get sick from the dirty fabrics and toys.

I went with my daughter on a weekday morning - early. We almost opened the place. There were 2-3 other children there with us, at most. We had most of the "exhibits" to ourselves. My daughter is a very active 2 1/2. She had a good time. She liked playing with the various toys in each area. She liked being able to touch everything. For a child, this is okay. From my perspective, however, I was thoroughly underwhelmed. Yes, I know it's a "museum" for kids, and it's not about me, but....1) To call this a "museum" seems a bit rich. It feels a lot more like themed play areas. The focus is definitely on play and less on learning. And the play is on very generic topics. 2) The condition of the spaces: Very worn down. Dated. Uninspired. It's as if they are just trying to milk the space for every last penny without putting in anything to maintain or even upgrade. The police car was worn down, ripped interior, the paint was gone from the floors, etc... 3) Whatever learning there was seemed basic and felt mailed in - as if they knew they needed *something* to call themselves a museum... I remember the microscope cards at the "vet". They showed a leaf and whiskers. Things that are easily visible to the naked eye without a microscope...4) There wasn't enough space to accommodate a lot of people. My daughter only enjoyed as she did because she was able to play with the limited toys without interference. If it were much busier, this would have been a total bust.5) Cost. At $26 for one adult and a child, I found this way too expensive for what we received. This place is on its last legs. It's time to let it die and send it to the museum for old, worn-out museums. My daughter and I went to the Children's museum in Boston, and were amazed. That one is light years ahead of Laval's attempt. I don't see a reason to go back to this one.

Do NOT go to this terrible place.Since they opened, it seems like they haven't cleaned nor renovated the place. It is very expensive considering there is nothing to do for kids over 7. Parents pay the big price and all they get to see is the old materials and germy fabrics in the place. Avoid this visit. It is a waste of you time and money. There are much better places to see.Overview: extremely disappointed and stinky place

It's very babyish, not a museum so much as a play center. My kid was 7 when she went there, and was not greatly amused.
