We spent such an enjoyable and exciting day dog sledding. Annette and her team were enthusiastic about their dogs, excited for us to meet them, and gave us an excellent overview as to what to expect and what was expected of us. Their dogs are their children so they are very protective and want to ensure that the dogs and us have a great experience. The weather was perfect - extremely cold and sunny! We meet the dogs one on one as you help bring them over to your sled. I started off in the sled bundled up so nice and warm while my husband led the charge! Halfway through we stopped and went inside this nice, warm rest stop for hot cocoa and treats. We then switched positions and it was my turn to lead the team! It was an experience that we will never forget. Photos are taken by the staff all along the way to capture all of these special moments. After the sledding, we fed our dogs treats and then got to spend more time with them in their pens. We end the day by having delicious hot chicken noodle soup served to us while watching the video of pictures taken of all of us during the course of the day. You will never meet a nicer staff of people. They love what they do and it shows in their dogs and how much they are loved and cared for.

It was our first time dog sledding. I stopped there 2 years ago on a whim while riding by on a snowmobile. They were very friendly and allowed us to walk around the dogs and check the place out. I returned with my wife this year and had a blast. the staff was very friendly and willing to answer all questions about the dogs and their care.It is obvious they love their work and the animals. Our time spent there was the hit of our vacations. letting customers actually drive the sleds is brilliant.I will be doing this again.

The enthusiasm generated by Annette and her team of guides ensures that visitors completely enjoy their dogsledding experience. This isn't just a "get-on-the-sled-go-for-a-ride" experience. No, it's completely immersive. After a video presentation and mushing technique explanation in the main building, there's a sled orientation outside. Then guests go to the dog park and are introduced by name to dogs that they bring over to be harnessed up to the various sleds. They go back and forth, bringing 4-5 dogs each. All are encouraged to use the dogs' names, to talk to and pet them. Then it's off for the ride, with a mid-way hot chocolate & home-made goodies break, then a musher/rider switch. Photographs are taken throughout (available for purchase later) - so don't forget to pose!Afterward it's treat time and the dogs get a well-earned snack and a cuddle, then it's off to visit with the puppies. The excursion finishes with a picture-viewing and a hot bowl of soup. This is a superbly-run facility. The dogs (some of which were rescued) are well-cared for and it shows. Alaskan Adventures Dog Sledding is a quality operation delivering a fantastic experience that's well worth the money.About getting there: pay close attention to the driving instructions given when calling to book. We were coming from Morin Heights, and our GPS got us there just fine, although it seems that GPS can be iffy in that neck of the woods. We didn't see any signs for Alaskan Adventure, and the turn-off for Barkmere was easy to miss. From Tremblant it's a little easier, because one follows the signs for Fort-Ouest Paintball (Alaskan Adventure is on the same site). May I suggest that signage be put up in Arundel to clearly indicate the turn-off location for this excellent activity? :)

This is really a wonderful way to discover the beauty and power of these beautiful animals. Annette and her staff are so warm and welcoming, as soon as you're in the door, they treat you like family! They truly transmit their passion for these dogs ! You get a lot of bang for your buck, you get to help the team attach the dogs to the sleds, you hug it out with them afterwards. This is such a wonderful experience that we are sure to return. A ¨Must-do¨ if you're in Tremblant !!!

What a great experience! This is a family run business with everyone involved. They are passionate about their dogs. Our family of 2 adults and three children were split between two sleds with adults on one sled and a guide with the three kids. We were on the first ride of the day and the dogs were so excited to run that we were not able to pet or play with them until after the ride. The ride was about 20-30 minutes up and down snowy hills and through the trees. Once the ride was over, we could play with the dogs. We had hot chocolate afterwards. It was amazing to experience how strong the dogs were even though they would be considered medium-sized dogs. We really enjoyed it!!

There is a reason Alaskan Adventures has been rated 5/5 for every review on this page. It is absolutely amazing. It begins with the staff. They are warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely fun! Max especially makes the experience an unforgettable one. He is enthusiastic, warm-hearted, and hilarious. Moreover, the staff members' love for the dogs is obvious. They keep the business relatively small in order to provide the best possible care for their dogs--something many of the larger dog sledding outfits fail to do. Alaskan Adventures has 65 dogs that are treated like family. The dogs themselves absolutely love dogsledding. From the moment they realized we were about to start hooking dogs to the sled, they all became unbelievably excited to run. Being a part of that excitement was simply amazing. When it comes to the actual dog sledding, the staff allow the perfect amount of autonomy and freedom--you really drive the sled by yourself! Its an incredible feeling of accomplishment. Perhaps the best part was that they made us switch halfway through the run (which was the perfect length). For the second half of the trip, the girls drove the dogs and, though they were a bit timid at first, they each drove far better than us gentlemen. From hooking the dogs to the sled, to driving it, to riding on it, to petting the dogs afterward, to meeting the puppies, it is impossible to say what my favourite part of the trip was. I must say the dogs and staff rate very highly on the list--they are both wonderful. Quite simply, if you're looking into a dogsledding trip, these are the people to do it with. Whether you're a family, a couple, a group of friends, or solo, Alaskan Adventures is the place to do it!

I can not express enough the joy of this experience. The nicest most professional and loving people and dogs. It is rare to find a place with the passion to care for what they do and how they do it. We have two kids and they raved. Thank you for a true learning and special time. Do this!!!!

Our group of four had a fantastic time during our visit to Alaskan Adventures! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with kindness and excitement. The staff here are nothing short of incredible. The care and love they have for the 65 dogs is inspiring. Our experience was very interactive and we were able to help hitch the dogs to the sled, we drove our own sleds and got over an hour to play and interact with the dogs once the dogsledding had ended. The dogs here are fed very well and cared for better than I could have ever expected. Many of the dogs have been rescued and given a much better home. We would 100% recommend this for anyone who has a love for dogs or just wants to have an amazing experience! We will definitely be back, it's worth every single penny!

I would highly, highly recommend Alaskan Adventure! My boyfriend and I planned dogsledding as the highlight of our trip to Mont Tremblant and Montreal, and we were not disappointed. I have travelled to many places, but dogsledding in Mont Tremblant was my favorite activity I have ever done while on vacation. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, helping us reschedule our adventure after extremely frigid temperatures kept us from going on our original date. We loved getting to meet all the dogs and especially spending time with all the dogs and the puppies at the end. It's clear that the dogs are very well-treated and love running. We enjoyed delicious homemade snacks at the lovely cabin halfway through and soup at the end. Even though it was pretty cold, we were amazed by the warmth we were shown by the staff and the dogs. We had to pay a bit more than we expected for a USB stick with the photos, but it was really worth every penny--our photos came out amazing, and we plan on using them for Christmas cards next year. Overall, I would highly, highly recommend Alaskan Adventure to anybody interested in dogsledding in the Mont Tremblant region!

Our family went dog sledding for the first time in tremblant. What made the experience more memorable is the people who own the place. It made our adventure much more comfortable. They explained where the dogs came from as they were rescued, what they fed the dogs and how they treat them. I was really amazed by their story and truly inspiring. I would recommend going to THIS dog sledding place opposed to the other ones. The dogs were wonderful and very strong, clearly they are fed properly and not cheap beef (as most dog sledding places do). I even go to control my own dog sled the whole time. Great experience and I would defiantly do it again!

I have never been so spoiled and so over whelmed as I was here. The staff is amazing. This is a rescue operation and they even have a special place for the dogs to retire to. We were several people that all wanted to do some dog sledding . We met the dogs, that were so very happy to see us, as well as we got to bring the dogs to the sleds ourselves. As we were about to leave, the owners were our guides. Wow, what special treatment we got. Over 65 dogs, and so happy, and a very clean operation. From the moment we arrived we were treated with a five star service. We also got to buy ( at a very reasonable price) a usb key which had over 250 photo's of our expedition . At the end , we were treated to a showing of all the photo's while we were having the most delicious soup ever! We would recommend this place to any of our closest friends and family. Go and be treated as kings and queens by the entire staff at Alaskan Adventure Tremblant.

How can a family who are afraid of dogs spend a day walking dogs, feeding them, and sleighing. The staff were excellent and helped us feel so at ease with the dogs we wanted to take some of the puppies home! The fact that they caught it all on camera was just such a wonderful addition to a wonderful experience. This is a first class company!

My three children, including a 1-year-old baby, my husband, and I really enjoyed this husky-led adventure! The dogs are amazing, so beautiful and strong. The staff are so experienced and made sure we were all safe & comfortable throughout. They even took beautiful photos of us!! We Highly recommend it!

This is a very small operation, which is great. The groups are small, they really make their guests feel welcome and special. Fully bilingual, no issue there at all. Staff is unbelievably friendly and passionate. Each sled accomodates 2 people. They make sure everyone gets to drive the sled if they want (assuming they weigh 90lbs or more). My kids both were paired with one of their staff on their sleds. The older one (12) got his turn driving the sled. The younger one (10) was too light, so she got to drive with the instructor standing with her, to add to the weight. The dogs seem happy and are extremely energetic. Midway through the ride, they stop to give the dogs a break. They serve homemade cookies and chocolate in a small cabin. On the day of our visit they had 4week old puppies, which we got to see and handle after the visit. I fully recommend this.
