A beautiful place to see any sort of entertainment. Since the revamp, the seating is much better as is the sound. Parking has always been an issue but the LRT works really well. Arrive early when the weather is good to enjoy the view and the gardens on the south side and be sure to use London bar service to beat the intermission crowds.

The Jubilee Auditorium is a lovely facility with very comfortable seating and a great atmosphere no matter what event you are experiencing. The sound is very good and the staff are so very friendly and helpful. There is a stand up bar area and seating where you can purchase beverages prior to performances. The only down side to attending events here is that parking can be slow and frustrating.

Love the Jubilee. Comfortable seats, great acoustics, not a bad seat in the house. I prefer to sit on the floor seats on the aisle. If I go to the ballet, if possible, I prefer the first balcony, first row.

I seen an Elvis tribute show with three singers, all very talented, and very entertaining. My wife and her friends wereequally thrilled. The Jube is a very good place to go seethese kind of shows.

They do an excellent rendition of Scrooge every year. I have attended several times. The building is state of the art!!

the acoustics in this place are amazing. I have seen several shows here and am never disappointed. Parking is always plentiful and affordable, security is good. Always organized and the location is great, right off the c-train

Great show a must see. The sound at the Jub is great for all venues for broadway shows to rock concerts

Well, i had heard that apparently there isn't a bad seat at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium. Well I can tell you that it's not true! I bought 4 tickets to see Wicked for the July 30th show, seats 157-160 Row M section RCI. My daughter was so very excited. The show was good, very talented cast....BUT we spent the whole evening stretching our necks or tilting our heads this was and that to try and see past the people sitting in front of us. And so far up that you really could not see the expressions on the actresses faces. $350 is a lot of money for a mediocre to disappointing experience. And be prepared to wait a long time to get out of the parkade! Never again.

Seen many concerts, shows, and performers here and we love The Jube. It has a nice feel to it. It's clean and not too big so you can enjoy the shows in a relaxed and intimate setting. Drinks are priced about the same as other venues and clubs. Staff here are a bit serious I find. Parking should accept plastic as a form of payment. My only complaint is when the show comes to an end and then it's long lines to the exits. And then be prepared to wait in traffic. But otherwise, this is a great venue to see a show.

I went to see Wicked last night and sat in the balcony seats. The show was spectacular, and kept my interest the whole night. There was such variety to the characters and sets. The music was fantastic, great comedy mixed in as well. I love this location, the common area doesn't feel crowded during intermission.

Enjoyed seeing Wicked. Seating was great, venue was awesome! Was a little difficult getting a taxi after the event.

Maybe because it was the type of event we attended, but it I was underwhelmed. Needed a booster seat and no one was working the coat check. Had to go look for someone to help me. Was surprised as it was a family event. Friendly staff :)

The Jubilee was recently renovated. It is a great prairie city performance hall. The accoustics are great and most seats offer good sight line to the stage. The Auditorium has plenty of parking and is serviced by the Light Rail Transit (LRT) system. It should have more women's bathrooms and water fountains.

The name says it all: Julbilee...a place where one is emancipated from the drudgery of the mediocre, a place where there can be restoration for the soul. A graduation ceremony, a concert, a musical, a sacred service...the Jubilee is the must-do venue for events that must be heard as well as seen. Expect excellence; save perfection for heaven. Expect hospitable care; save personal care for butlers. Whether one comes by train or by car, on foot or by bus, the Jubilee is convenient for all sorts of guests. From the instant you step into the demure hush of the lobby until you find your seat in locations that give you what your money has afforded you, the pilgrimage to a place of sensory lavishness is worth the first step. Guests around me muttered phrases of hushed awe,"I feel like I'm somewhere in Europe", "Doesn't this feel classy?" to enthusiastic applause, in part because of the skillful acoustics that decorously assisted the performance. Calgarians should be proud of this place...I am.

Auditorium far too large for a good entertainment experience, acoustics are abysmal, balcony too far from the action for good viewing. That doesn't stop people from flooding this venue -- one of 2 main snob-appeal performance venues in Calgary for the those with Artistic Aspirations. Doesn't matter who's playing -- save your $$$ & just buy the recording. Example: Canadian guitarist Jesse Cook played to packed house mid-Dec 2013; he's a fabulous musician with a great band + magnetic stage persona, yet sound qual & overall audience experience dreadful, sorry Jesse. Ticket price for that fiasco -- $73.50. This venue is mostly habituated by pushy snobby no-talent parents who want their kids to study the viola.
