there are so many wonderful fresh food vendors at this market! Blush Lane for organic produce and clean dairy, Sage for clean beef products, Spragg Meats for amazing chicken and pork - the bacon, sausage and smoked pork chops are the best! grab a cappuccino, stop for a healthy lunch and bring your own bags- plan to make more than one trip back to your car with your purchases! Too many wonderful vendors to list but a weekly trip for our family!!!!

Local product, you can always find fresh produce and gifts. It's also a great place to grab lunch or something to snack on.

If you live in Calgary or are just a visitor this is a must see market. Indoor, year round and has all the market feel of the New York terminal market. For Fresh Produce the Cherry Pit carries local when available and imports during the cold winter months when Canada produces very little. It also has a huge food court with no chains only local food vendors. All food is amazing from true Greek, Indian, Chinese to modern food choices. If you want any type of food from oil to fresh honey it is at this market.Truly a must see in Calgary.

There is a "farmer's mark-up" on everything but I love being able to support local business. Also love to get bison, elk and grass-fed beef here.

Indoor market and only open on certain days. Lots of fresh fruit and veggies. For a visitor, I was fascinated by the way the fruit and veggies were displayed. Also found veggies I've not seen before eg fiddlehead fern. There's a section where hot food is sold, craft, delis, cakes, bread, you name it, they just about have it... Yes, even fresh meat. If I live here, I would be there frequently.

it seams like every time we go this place has something new to offer with a new vendor or a current one has come up with something different. The kids enjoy all the backed goods and I enjoy the wine shop!Keep it up Calgary Farmers' Market

This is an upscale farmers' market. Not the place to go if you are looking for someone selling cheap produce out of a truck. But if you appreciate good quality, local(ish) food (lots of the produce is from B.C.), organic, etc. and don't mind spending a bit to get it, this is a great place. My favourite vendors: Silver Sage beef for delicious grass fed beef, also lamb and some other meats; Cherry Pit, I appreciate their 'veggie butcher' service that will cut up veggies for you, and their kits for salads and side dishes; Sylvan Star cheese for locally made cheese; Shef's Fiery Kitchen for frozen Indian and Thai meals to make at home; Missing Link for many flavours of homemade chicken sausage; Souto farms for BC produce. Get a coffee from Fratello to enjoy while you browse.

This place keeps evolving, and growing with fresh content and amazing healthy options. The vendors are cheerful and helpful when you look at the newest products and appear completely baffled about its use and preparation. Love it in the fall when all things fresh roll in from the farms . Eat there and if you are adventuresome try on something new and different - my favorite way to fullfil "foodie-ism". Lots of diverse options and fresh ingredients. Try the Analog Coffee - best coffee ever.

apparently they have moved the market to another location, it seems bunched together, not a nice, the prices are higher, and it was a bitof a turn of to us.

We stopped yesterday to get all the makings for pickles. The veg is fresh and local. Well worth the trip. Avoid the higher priced grocery type places though.

I love farmers markets and I have frequented many, however I was not impressed with this one. Where are the unique artisans, crafters, buskers and general atmosphere that envelops you in a market? Yes there are some great organic food choices but that was all I can find to say that is positive. I felt that I had just visited another mall, not a market. I have tried to go back on several occasions to see if my opinion changes, however this will be my last visit. This is not a market, its' a miniature mall trying to pass itself off as something it is not.

We are staying at a hotel close buy so we thought we would try it out. This place os BUSY! If I lived here I would have stocked up on the farm fresh goods. Plus there are food vendors inside & even a face painting place (decently priced). The parking lot is large but the walkways in the parking lot aren't slanted for strollers so we had to walk on the road - I think a safety issue.

This farmer's market has a little of everything. There is a food court that is better than any mall you've been to. You can take your order and sit outside if the weather is nice, or stay in and let the kids run wild in the playzone. There is a wide variety of vendors from cheese, to meat, to veggies and fruit. As well lots of textiles and home products are available. My favorite stall is the Heart's Choice - they sell vegan and vegetarian protein options that are better than any animal meat! The parking lot can get busy, so try for a spot on the street nearby for a better experience. bring your own reusable grocery bags. Most vendors accept credit card, debit and all take cash.

Great place to go for all your produce needs. Fresh and not too overly priced. Ample parking in rear of building with easy access.

After my first visit I would have to say I was very impressed with the selection of goods you can get at this market. I like the fact you can get a good selection of produce, meat, and bakery products all under one roof. When I go to a market I don't normally care about the crafts that people are selling, but this market has a decent selection of items if you're looking for that kind of thing. Their food court has a wide selection of items to choose from and at reasonable prices. I really like that a lot of the vendors offer samples of their products so you can try before you buy! I will definitely be checking out this market again the next time I'm in Calgary!
