Nice little hike. Only took about 30 minutes to get to the top and the views were breath taking :) It is a good idea to pack a lunch and enjoy it at the top in the sunshine.

This place has never failed to please in 20 years of visits. Great views! 30 minutes for the fit, twice that for the not-so-fit. Bring a lunch/snack and binoculars and stay for a while. It's a rocky knoll, with different view points all around. Plenty of shady areas if you visit in the summer, with smooth rock sitting options. Native plant enthusiasts will find Hairy Manzanita and hybrids, orchids, lilies, and paintbrush, among others. One of the best botanical areas on the Sunshine Coast, and definitely the best view for the effort.

About a twenty minute hike if your moving, few steep spots but a good family hike for everyone.Beautiful view, at the top plus the hike is pretty.

My boyfriend and I tried to go here but as soon as we found parking and started to hike we ran into a cougar, but the drive there was stunning so I can only assume that the hike was wonderful as well.

It's hard to find the trailhead, and there's hardly any parking there, but this hike is not to be missed! Check to see that the top of the hill is visible before climbing it though. It would be a shame to be in the clouds at the top. It is a bit steep, but not too slippery, even when wet. It took us just over 1/2 hour with lots of rest breaks. Once you reach the top keep going forward and down to get to the really nice views of Pender Harbour. You can also see up and down the coast. A great alternative when the peak of Mount Daniel is in the clouds.

A beautiful view and a great hike, but be prepared for a steep walk at some points. There is not a lot of parking, and driving to the parking location is very confusing. So although the experience is lovely, be prepared to get lost on semi rural, semi suburban roads.

We were looking for something to do with the family when we stumbled upon the Garlic Festival at the Pender Harbour Lions Park. It is a fund raiser, so we kind of overlooked the admission fee which would normally be an annoyance. Inside there were trailrides for our kids, and hay ride, various food truck vendors, artisans, and two separate bands playing. I think one of the bands was a local artist named Skinny Jimmy or something like that. He looked like an old hillbilly (actually many of the people here did), but his music was entertaining. The scent of garlic was wafting through the air, and we tried some samples and bought a few items. There were two guys selling home made pasta, and italian strawberry cream soda. Their food was to die for!

The hiking and fresh water lakes were just grand and watching the big tide changes with deep whirl pools are a most. The resort had the tide schedule for when to hike and watch.
